I'm Amber, founder of Shaped With Words. This is what breaking through actually looks like.
For years this was just a dream I kept to myself. Now it's real. A shirt you can hold. Words on this page. A business instead of an idea.
What got me here is simple: Recognize, Examine, Replace, Declare. Catch the thought. Hold it up to God's Word. Replace the lie with truth. Speak it out loud. Long before there was a shirt, this looked like a notebook where I journaled it all out first, and sometimes those declarations made their way onto sheets of paper taped to my wall, where I'd see them and speak them out loud every day. The shirt is just a more portable version of the same practice.
None of this was really about my effort. It was about choosing to fully trust God instead of being double minded (James 1:6-8), all in, not hedging. Stepping out in faith didn't mean I had it all figured out. It meant I was willing to pivot if He showed me something different, but I had to actually move. Trusting Him fully is what let me step out at all.
This isn't just a mental exercise. When I started doing this intentionally, day after day, I was physically healed of fibromyalgia. Renewing your mind isn't only about obeying God. Real fruit follows it.
Even publishing this site meant catching a thought. I kept getting stuck looking at myself, worried about how I'd look. I held it up to truth. My voice was created to be used, whether on paper or on video. This is bigger than me. So I stopped looking inward and started looking outward, to the people I'm actually here to serve.
I can't hand you a breakthrough. Only God does that work. What I can hand you is what helped me: an honest journey, and a tool that keeps your mind on what's true.
Start with a declaration you can wear.
