Card Kit makes

I am in a 'card kit' group, where we are showered with card kits one month a year- we are able to request our 'wants' for our months- February.  I wanted Purple and Thinking of You or Sympathy cards.
These cards were made from a kit Carol sent to me.

I am out of town, so have a few supplies to use- Distress Ink cubes were used for watercoloring this card.  To get the purple, I played around with colors, and ended up mixing Chipped Sapphire and Seedless Preserves.  The greens are Peeled Paint and Pine Needles. The image is Lovely Lattice by SU. I am unsure of the sentiment. The white lace is layered over purple mulberry paper. The punched border was in my stash. The glitter dots are CTMH (from Terry's kit). The DP is Paper Pizazz.

More watercoloring with Distress inks- same colors as above, plus yellow-Fossilized Amber and a touch of Rusty Hinge. I also added a vague outline of Pumice Stone around the flower and leaves. The White enamel dots are echo Park. I am unsure of this image origins- if you know, please let me know too!
Carol included sone beautiful butterfly stickers that are 3-D by Jot.  So, I used dies she included- the center die is popped up and the butterfly placed on it. The hudrangea DP is also Paper Pizazz. The glimmery purple enamel dots are CTMH.

Spring Garden

The SCS Way to Use it challenge today wants to know what's in your garden.  I planted 6 new Hydrangea plants last year, 4 different varieties.  I cannot wait until they bloom!

From the kit from Terry S., I colored up this beautiful Stipple Hydrangea. Copic markers were used.  The die- I think it's MFT but not positive.  The DP, doily and embellishments are all from the kit.

SCS sketch and another card kit

I made up another card from a card kit from Tracy C from our kit group at SCS (Splitcoaststampers).  It is the first day of Spring, so my card reflects that. I also used the SCS sketch challenge for today.

It is raining here- good day to stamp, and the grass will become more green.  I am not in an area where there is flooding, so hope it is NOT raining where it is.
This image is SU, Tracy stamped it onto Neenah cardstock and the base is Lovely Lilac.

More card kit cards

I was showered with Card Kits in the month of February.  I asked for kits in the color purple and with themes of Thinking of You or Sympathy- in memory of my Mom.

I made three cards using the kits awaiting me:

This pretty image was sent to me from Nancy H.  I colored it with Copics.  I added the black cardstock, everything else was in the kit Nancy provided.

This beautiful Rose from Gina K was sent in a kit by Terry L.  I added the die, the rest of the card contents were in the kit.  Such a beautiful image!

This pretty kit is from Kelly.  I really love hydrangea's, and isn't the sentiment too sweet?

Love Many Things

I put together another card with the HYYCT challenge 1531A from SCS in mind. The theme is Stop and Smell the Roses.

I found a card kit while moving my stamping room, and decided to put it together. This was a prize from Ginny Maxam from Maxam Made Studio a very long time ago...... I do not know where the sweet image came from- it was in the kit. I colored it with Copics and fussy cut her out. The green border was also in the kit. I added butterflies from a technique piece of TJ leftover shimmery pink and gold, and added rhinestones to the centers. I added a bow and some sequins as well.

Challenges:
Crafting for all Seasons- Girly
Word Art Wednesday- AG
Craft-Dee-Bowz- AG using handmade bow

Tea anyone?

I do love my tea- and while I am moving my craft room.....I found some card kits Ginny Maxam sent to me about a year or so ago,

I do not know who makes this stamp, but isn't she sweet?  I changes the color of the backing paper to Old Olive and ran it through an embossing folder, the rest of the card is 'as is'.  How fun. Thanks Ginny! Stop by Ginny's Blog HERE- she makes beautiful cards- and has beautiful digi freebies too : )
