COF- Thankful

September 2019 Hostess: Jeanette

Scripture: All things were created through him, and apart from him not one thing was created that has been created. (John 1:3, CSV)

Challenge: Include something on your card (or other project) that you are especially thankful that God created.

I so love flowers! However, they make me sneeze and have asthma, so I prefer coloring them and admiring them on cardstock!!!  They do, however, remind me of my Mother who was a master gardener. She would make flowers come alive!!!

PSX was one of the first lines of stamps I was introduced to, and wanted to be able to make samples like the ones I saw in the store!  In those days, there were No Copic markers : )  Before I began this card, I saw the Inspiration challenge at Splitcoast, and decided to combine the challenges.  I used MME DP for the background and a retired by coveted sentiment from Sweet n Sassy Stamps. Just a touch of Twine and the card is good to go!

Challenges TBA

This combo of inks are SU Guava, Coral and Blue Brocade. The image is SU.
I am entering this in the Brown Sugar AG challenge.

Penny Black image, colored with Arteza waterbrush pens.

One of my first stamps- by PSX.  The cardstock is Ballet Blue.

This is a DieVersions die and sentiment is by Gina K.

DTGD 2018

I dove into the DTGD challenges- just to try a few of them.  It is fun to do the challenges and see what you can come up with.....  I focused alot on Christmas cards too : )

This was such a quick card to put together!  10 minutes max!  That may be a record for me : )  The image is Unity.

This image is by PSX. It is gold embossed, then colored with Alcohol ink. .

I tried applying the Alcohol inks in a different way.

And, this fun cutie is an image from a kit I rec's doing Christmas Crazy at SCS. I used Ditress inks on the sky, and colored using chalks on the rest.

More Falliday : )

I had some free time again today so worked on challenges for Falliday over at Splitcoast.

The first challenge is to make a fall card but use no white or Vanilla on it.

I stamped the Sunflower by PSX onto So Saffron. I colored it with Copics. The background is stamped with a Stampin Up image.

This challenge is to decorate your door or window for the Holidays.

The wreath is made with a Cheery Lynn die and SU green cardstock.

This card is a Holiday card with Scoring on it.
This die is by Creative Expressions. I cut it out using Bo Bunny DSP. The gold borders are score tape with Gold EP.

This is the final card- a technique with dies.
I think the Joy doe is Memory Box. The background is Technique Junkies.  It is stamped onto white glossy cardstock.

Challenges TBA

Dare to Get Dirty

Enjoying my new retirement by Stamping, and more Stamping!!!  I am not sure I will be able to keep up though- this is alot of stamping!!!

A one layer card- masker off the edges with Post-it notes. Images by Sweet Stamps

This background ws made by dribbling reinkers onto watercolor paper, then sprinkling on water droplets. I let the green dry before I did the red so it would not get muddy. The Hummingbird die is Gina Marie, the sentiment North Coast Creations

Oh, back in the day SU made this fun stamp. I made this emboss resist card with Turquoise and Not Quite Navy SU inks.  The sentiment- Create with TLC.

I sprayed Dylusions over a cross chipboard from Sweet Stamps. I then removed the center piece and sprayed on a little bit different yellow. Overstamped the back with a sentiment, added the main sentiment, a little ribbon and some sequins. This set is from Sweet and Sassy Stamps.

I just bought this older PSX stamp, how I love tulips!  I had some watercolor fun!  The text stamp is an older SU stamp.

Whew- you can see after a day of stamping, I need a drink...LOL  I love this funny lemon by Avery Elle. The background was made on a Gelly Plate. The drink and lemon are Lawn Fawn.

Hi. I am posting a card I put together at a Fall retreat a couple of weeks ago- the background was on a table where people shared items they no longer care to keep- the sharing table : )
