Its the 7th of the month, so time to post my Crafters of Faith September card. It's also day 7 of the 30 day coloring challenge.
I made this fun card- bright and festive for a Birthday celebration!
The card looks like this when opened a tiny bit (just so you can see : ) )
And opened up for message:
Judy is our hostess this month, and this is her challenge:
"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God - not by works, so no one can boast. For we our God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Ephesians 2:8-10
As September is the month both my sons were born in I like to remember that these boys were two of the greatest gifts God gave to me! (The meaning of their names is Gift of God) So I would like you to create a card celebrating a birth or another great gift God has bestowed on you.
I made a birthday card using an image from TTCRD last Magazine given by Tiddly Inks. I am still feeling a bit sad and missing our dog that just passed- he did not look anything like this dog, but this image brought up those feelings of how much our pets bring us Unconditional Love. So, I will send it to a friend (a gift from God) and it reflects on how my dog was at my side through good and some rough times in my life (a huge gift from God).

Creative Belli Challenge-"ROYAL"
The Creative Belli Challenge theme for the next two weeks is "ROYAL"
I decided to go all out and celebrate the Royal Wedding.
I colored the image in Copics and highlighted with Gold Spica and Starburst Jelly Pen. The sweet image is from Sliekje and is from last July. The carriage is from Birds blog and the banner is a digi from Tiddly Inks. The sentiment is from Create with TLC. I do not know where the crown is from..... The Patterned paper is from 2005 and the pearls are from Markie's Finest Papers.
My SIL and her DIL are going to Oprah on Friday to celebrate the Royal Wedding (how cool is that!). I am going to send this to them for their Memory Book.
The "Royal" theme can be interpreted in a number of ways....We would like to see fleur de lis, diamonds, princess, crowns, tiaras... the color purple, etc !
You can create any project you like as long as it follows the theme.
The Belli Challenge is about using your 'old and forgotten embellishments as well.
