Pumpkin Patch

I don't know what it is about this picture but I think Thomas looks just like Mitch!






We have been going to the same pumpkin patch for years, it has kind of become a tradition. With the boys being out of school for UEA, we thought we would go. So we got the pumpkin cart and off we went. Thomas always manages to find the biggest pumpkin he can and this year was no exception. Jacob found his and then I made them find one for Mitch and Maddi too. Even though they aren't going to be home for Halloween, I couldn't leave without 4 pumpkins, it's tradition!. Jake was getting frustrated with me because I kept making him pick a different pumpkin if it didn't have a good enough stem. That's the only thing I insist on is a cute stem, that's not too much to ask for is it? So we found 4 perfect pumpkins and I got a spaghetti squash, YUM! We will carve them next week, the boys are already planning what they are going to do. I love halloween but man I miss having all my kids home for family traditions. Now we are off for another family fall tradition, Frightmares at Lagoon but we are down to one kid. Thomas went to St. George with his favorite person in the whole world, his cousin Tanner. So we have uneven numbers for rollercoasters!
Last weekend we had SO much fun having Maddi home. So much fun I forgot to take pictures. We went shopping and to lunch and saw Footloose (SO GOOD). The weekend went way to fast and I hated sending her back, but if you are her friend on Facebook you see that she is doing great and loving school, well loving her friends any way.
