Almost......

Well the bad news is that Jacob's team lost their game. Final score 12-7. But the good news is football is over for the season! Hooray! He LOVED playing football and wants to play again next year, and that is fine, but I am so happy it is over. He learned a ton and did really well for his first year. He made some great new friends and had a blast. His favorite Uncle brought his cousins to the game even though it was FOREVER away and FREEEEEEEZING!!!! It was super nice of them to come and Jacob thought it was pretty cool they were there. What an awesome brother I have!!!
Now bring on the basketball! But the countdown begins for the best season yet......5 months until baseball!!!!

NINE!

Nine more months until we see this cute face in person!!!!!! I talked to our awesome Stake Pres. last night and he assured me that the next few months will fly by so fast we won't know what happened. I don't wish for his mission to be over, it has been an awesome experience for him, our family and the people he has taught in Peru, but I miss this kid and I can't wait to see him!!

Off to the Championship!

Jacob's football team had a game Saturday. It snowed Saturday.
It was a playoff game and we really weren't expecting them to win but win they did! They were losing 14-0 at the half but the 2nd half they came back and ended up in a tie and then in double over time they came away with a 20-14 victory. It was cold and snowy but it made for a great game and now 22 little boys are out of this world excited and are going to be playing for the championship this Saturday. Stay tuned..............
