240Z, the microman...

surprised to see how tiny the 240Z is.

240Zの小ささ。

Wata (Taka) took this 10,000cc=632ci engine to power check last night and got 780hp.

昨晩例の10,000ccのエンジンをパワーチェックに持って行ったWタナベ氏、780馬力出たらしい。

Wata(Taka)fixed the tranny of the 240Z and got 308 hp on the power check (these are all he wanted to do BEFORE the speedweek last summer but he was running out of time.) 

さて、トランスミッションもばっちり直してパワーチェックで308馬力をマーク（これ全部Wタナベ氏がスピードウィークの前にやりたかったことだけど、時間がなくて出来なかった💦）そうなると走ってみたい、走ってるとこみたい・・・

now we want to see it actually flying so decided to go to the dry lake to test it tomorrow morning. we loaded our little SL100 just in case 😊

ということで、明日の早朝にドライレークでテストを決行することに。ついでにフラット・トラックの練習もしたい筆者は練習用のSL100もどさくさにまぎれて積んでもらう 😊

線が増えてゆく・・・

the rearrangement fever...

shinya has been organizing just #7 and the mezzanine of the #12 has been left abandoned. we've just putting bulky stuff randomly here and now we could barely see the floor. shinya, a master of keeping things tidy and in order, and Wata (Taka) who's not so great at organizing things are start to take care of it.

12番の2階。みんなの邪魔なものを置き放題で足の踏み場もない状態が続いていたけど・・・7番ばっかり整頓していた「片付け王」木村氏と、片付けたいという気持ちはあるのにどうしてよいか分からないという「ただの片付けられないヤツ」Wタナベ氏がいよいよ動き始めた。

first, we dismantled the huge desk that shinya and Wata made at the very beginning. 

まずは場所だけ取ってひとつも役立っていなかった作業テーブルを解体。

and remade it to a shelf.

材料を再利用してちょっとした棚に改造。

using walls to hang bulky fence to hook some small stuff.

棚を置いたら邪魔になったものを壁に吊る、壁有効利用法。

we realized that we needed more shelves to organize the mezzanine so decided to get them tomorrow and left the mezzanine. we all went back to our own work except...shinya.

2階の方はもっと収納棚が必要ということになり、明日探しに行くことにして本日は散らかったままいったんお開きに。Wタナベ氏と筆者はそれぞれ持ち場に戻った。が、木村氏だけなんだかゴソゴソと2階に居座る。

then, after a couple hours later, shinya called us to the mezzanine and showed us the plenty of the floor space that we haven't seen for quite a while.

そして1,2時間後に木村氏に呼ばれて2階を見たら・・・スッキリ片付いていた。ここの床を見たの久々。さすが片付け王！

and shinya went back to work without worrying about anything.

そして、清清しい気持ちで仕事に戻る木村氏。お見事。

it's Wata's next door glass shop's and he's working on it.

お隣のガラス屋さんのクルマなんだって。なぜかWタナベ氏が作業してる。

in return, he gets the rear window seal for his El Camino.

日本行きのエルカミーノのリア・ウィンドウのシールを換えてと頼んだら、じゃあこっちもやってくれって言われちゃったみたい。ノーと言えないWタナベ氏。

デラックス・ツールスタンドがガタついてきたので強化中。

shinya scribbled on a magazine ad, added afro hair, mustache and beard on the guy because he didn't look like "THE Harley-Davidson MAN".

「ザ・ハーレーデーヴィットソン・マン」とうたっているのに、モデルの男性はひとつもハーレーっぽくない、と、雑誌の切り抜きに落書きをする木村氏。ヒゲボーボーのアフロヘアに変身。

 the SR 40th anniversary project.

勝手にSR40周年を祝っちゃおうプロジェクト。

shinya knows that the seat will be black so he temporarily painted the seat section in black so that he can decide on the colors for other parts.

今のところシートは黒に決めている木村氏。他の部分の色をどうするかはまだ決めていないので、考えやすくするためにとりあえずシート部分を黒く塗ってみる。

近所のハチミツ色の元ボス猫。今はボスではないみたい。

although shinya loves cats, they don't like him much 😿

自称ネコ好きの木村氏。でも、この界隈のすべてのネコからひとつも好かれていないという悲しい事実😿　みんなそそくさと逃げちゃう。猫心をちっとも分かっていないのね。

scored some knicks and knacks from a neighbor guy, and found many Triumph parts 🍀

近所のおじさんからガラクタを引取った木村氏。でもけっこうトライアンフのパーツがたくさん入ってたんだって。ラッキー🍀

at Wata's. finished up the wagon and he was finally able to work on the El Camino which is going to Japan soon.

12番。ガラス屋さんに頼まれた作業を終えて、やっとやりたかったエルカミーノの作業に戻れたみたい。
