This program aims to increase โฌ๏ธ media involvement to help promote online the domestic tourism products, especially on social media platforms

The next day, all went to visit the Arau Royal Gallery ๐ to view the exhibition of the Perlis royal collection. Then, went to attend the official launch of theย 41 Perlis State Ecotourism Packages by Tourism Malaysia at Gua Kelam ๐ฅพโฐ๏ธ๐๏ธ It was officiated by Mr. Mohamed Amin Yahya ๐๐ฝโโ๏ธ, Senior Director of Tourism Malaysia’s Domestic & Event Division. These packages form part of an initiative to promote the Perlis state in conjunction with the upcoming Visit Perlis Year 2024-2025. The launch ended successfully with a tasty delicious catering lunch ๐ฝ๏ธ๐๐ฏ
Other tourism products that are also visited by the ๐ invited media members were the Perlis Herbal Forest Park ๐ฟ๐ฑ๐ณ & Padang Besar Shopping Arcade ๐๏ธ๐ in addition to enjoying the beautiful sunrise ๐๐ at Wang Kelian Viewpoint

There are approximately 25 different art paintings on the stretching of about 95m wall & street floor which featuring 2๏ธโฃD & 3๏ธโฃD artworks that run along the theme of heritage & nostalgia. It’s amazed to note that each artwork painted actually incorporates elements with the localsโ hearts to then reflecting the unique Perlis identity

It’s located next to the Royal Palace of Perlis ie. The official residence of the ruler of Perlis ๐ At its entrance into this royal gallery, there is a green grass sculpture of Hibiscus ๐บ flower ~ the Malaysia’s ๐ฒ๐พ national flower on the floor. As a respect, suggest not to step on it โ๐ฆถ๐ป๐บ

Most of the visitors here got attracted to view the “Kiswah” cloth which was gifted ๐ by the Saudi Arabia Government to the Perlis Government in 1965 when he left for Mecca ๐ Also there is a broom ๐งน that was once used to clean the compound in Mecca

HmmโฆSiennyLovesDrawing ๐ฉ๐ป learnt about this cave during her Perlis State Park night walk in earlier trip & then she has now explored this cave in both of its dry & wet route for the 1๏ธโฃst time
This cave is located in the Perlis State Park & known as a Geosite near the Malaysia-Thailand border, ie. Approximately 2๏ธโฃkm from Wang Kelian town. Wang Burma Cave consists of Setul Formation limestone & most of the rocks have been metamorphosed due to the location of this cave being too close to the granite body in Bukit China
Wang Burma Cave is divided into 2๏ธโฃ, namely Gua Wang Burma 1๏ธโฃ & Gua Wang Burma 2๏ธโฃ. It’s 1๏ธโฃ of the most famous caves in Perlis for its uniqueness of stalactites & stalagmites that were formed millions of years ago
From her cave exploring experience, the route to explore Cave Wang Burma 2๏ธโฃ is more challenging & it has a high level of difficulty because she has to wade through the small river of the cave, infiltrate the small cave holes so she has to crawl, squat down & walk like a duck ๐ฆ There are thousands of bats ๐ฆ๐ฆ hanging from the roof of the cave
Tips ๐ from her own experience,
โ Must wear safety helmet โ๏ธ ๐ช, she countless how many times she hit her head while squat down to go through the small cave hole & low area of river walking
โ Wear bright clothing so that your travel mates & nature guide see you inside the dark cave
โ Bring water proof bag to keep your phone
โ Wear aqua shoe๐ & headlamp/ torch๐ฆ
โ Bring water bottle
โ Big bag as at low area & small cave holes really limited space
โ Touch any stone cave formations as some still alive & growing, she was told once touch, some will die

Ohh yaโฆShe was lucky to view the Stump-Tailed Macaque aka Beruk Kentoi (It’s from monkey ๐ ๐ต family) by the local Perlis community here from her van window during the journey on the way for this cave exploration. It’s not easy to actually see this species, just too quickly, so unable to capture photo/ video for sharing. All kept in her precious memories ya โบ๏ธ
It’s not the many known Pulau Ketam that near & with ferry โด๏ธ departure from Port Klang, Selangor
This is at Perlis, SiennyLovesDrawing got surprised that there is another crab island ๐ฆ๐๏ธ here, yeahโผ๏ธ A happy discovery ๐
However, due to time limitations during her trip, she doesnโt get to visit this island. Itโs okay ๐, it gives a good reason for her to be back to Perlis again ya ๐ฉ๐ป๐
It’s SiennyLovesDrawing 2๏ธโฃnd visit here, another beautiful sunrise ๐ moment to remember. Just that she wishes to view the well known sea of clouds โ๏ธโ๏ธ
Hmm… She always brings sunshine โ๏ธ๐ from Kuala Lumpur to here, no rain ๐ง๏ธโ the day before her visit, so only sunrise with beautiful mountains layering backgroundsย
This recent visit she has discovered another similar complex to shopping ๐๐๏ธ especially for souvenirs & clothing which located at the back of it named Padang Waremart
For local foodies, Persiaran Makanan Bintong would be a good place for foods at night ya ๐๐คค

Ohh yaโฆDonโt forget to try their famous Teh Tarik Halia. SiennyLovesDrawing missed to try it this recent visit as she wasnโt aware this is their signature until the moment she finished her breakfast here, lol ๐๐ She will try it the next visit here then
When SiennyLovesDrawing stepped in it, she enjoys its nostalgic 60s era vibes & classical decorations of this kopitiam ๐คฉ She got impressed with the antique collection ie. The old fashion sewing machine, cutlery, plates, old newspapers ๐๏ธ๐ฐ , magazines etc.
Itโs a unique breakfast place to enjoy the past memories with its beautiful & antique rustic collection, also a calm comfy atmosphere to enjoy the tempting breakfast menu served here

Itโs Malaysiaโs ๐ฒ๐พ 1๏ธโฃst drive-thru bakery & cafe ie. A branch under the Fairyโs Group which founded in 1983 by Tanโs siblings ie. Tan Ah Kiang & Tan Kooi Hwak. Its main business of manufacturing & distributing various types of cakes, breads, pastries & other Fairyโs food items
OhhโฆSiennyLovesDrawing got amazed with its strong Christmas vibes when stepped in to this 2๏ธโฃ-storey cafe, she then was welcomed by a big teddy bear ๐งธ sitting on a sofa next to a Christmas tree ๐ Lol ๐๐คฉ She went straight to hug the bear for a photo ๐ธ She enjoys the personal collection displayed in this cafe too
It was a delicious tasty western cum fusion buffet dinner to meet & greet with the Tourism Malaysia Northern Region officers ๐ฝ๏ธ๐ HmmโฆShe loves the spaghetti ๐ especiallyย
After dinner, she went to upstairs dining area to capture some of its decorations, artworks exhibited & a balcony overlooking the night view of the street
When you arrive, you will note the booth at its entrance with fresh fish ๐ & seafood ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐๐ฆช๐ฆ for its customers to choose from, the type & quantity you want & then inform the cooking style that you wish to taste when place order with the waiter
SiennyLovesDrawing really enjoyed most the grilled fish ๐ served here, itโs so juicy tasty ๐ฉ๐ป๐๐คคย It’s topped a layer of its yellow coloured turmeric secret recipe infused sauce. She also enjoyed the crunchy addictive flour fried calamari ๐ฏ๐๐ป
Itโs located near the Kuala Perlis Jetty & the Floating Mosque so it provides a beautiful sea ๐ view & sunset ๐ Itโs with a spacious parking ๐ ฟ๏ธ space
