It’s actually a Women’s Leadership & Mentoring Program fully funded by Ministry of Women, Family & Community Development (Kementerian Pembangunan Wanita, Keluarga & Masyarakat) 🇲🇾 to empower 50 women 👭🏻👭🏻👭🏻👭🏻 (SiennyLovesDrawing was 1️⃣ of the selected participants 👩🏻✅😃😁) to unlock each potential, strengthen leadership identity & design own lasting impact roadmap respectively
It’s guided by Dr. Leez Hassan 🧕🏻 & 8️⃣ mentors, in fact more mentors involved throughout this program 💯👍🏻

She felt grateful 🙏🏻💖 that she was accepted for it in Cohort 1️⃣, yeah 👩🏻💪🏻👏🏻🙌🏻💯
After attended the online onboarding session, she 👩🏻👩🏻💻📖📚 started to read up more about leadership to prepare for her 1️⃣st 2️⃣ physical sessions @ 30 Oct & 31 Oct 2025 with a professional coach, Dr Leez Hassan 🧕🏽She was the 2️⃣nd earliest to reach Corus Hotel KLCC on these 2️⃣ physical sessions
She got impressed with the positive vibes of Dr Leez in her content delivery, she passionately shared & answered diligently all questions ❓⁉️ raised. SiennyLovesDrawing enjoyed all the interactive group activities throughout with other PERANTIS participants

1️⃣st question asked ❓during Day 1️⃣ of physical session ~ What leadership truly meant to her, SiennyLovesDrawing answered that “Leadership meant to influence, create awareness & move together”. She enjoyed an interactive discussion with her team members about the women icon with authentic leadership. She has learnt more about Tun Dr Siti Hasmah especially her consistency of values & being authentic identity by never stripped herself to fit the political spotlight
She then discovered for the 1️⃣st time that she is with purple coloured brain 👩🏻💜🧠 as her thinking style from Colored Brain Model by Arthur Carmazzi
She understands better she is with relational, conceptual & creative processing focus 🎯 & owns her growth tips of translating ideas into steps. She owns strength in seeing connections 🔄 & connecting dots, detailed oriented & highly organised. However, she may lose focus at times
She has learnt about the existence of other coloured brain people ~ Green 💚, Red ❤️ & Blue 💙 Each brain 🧠 processes information through a genetic pathway that defines how each interpret reality respectively, yes ✅, different thinking styles from herself
She 👩🏻💡 realised that conflict happens often because of diversity of thoughts, not disagreement. So, she reflected about the importance of analyse & learn to recognise the different thinking patterns, strengthens empathy, build tolerance & respect within 💯👍🏻
SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 is with Compliance under the DISC Framework to express her behaviour. Yes ✅, she is an introvert & very cautious, particular in quality & accuracy as core focus 🎯, with her strength in analytical & highly organised, she connects by providing facts & not rush in making decisions, though she can over analyse at times. As reflected, she is actually being accurate & structured, not slow in her decision making that usually being commented 💯
Ohh ya…During a group activity, her team managed to successfully build a moving puzzle 🧩 together in 🔟mins. She has reflected that the importance of having different brains, generations, backgrounds & experience levels in a team to work together, of course complementing with clear & structured communication throughout 💯👍🏻
So, she embraces generational diversity, the balance ⚖️ of being non-biased, age gaps & experience levels. Then, able to communicate & collaborate 🤝 effectively in working together happily with greater 👍🏻 emotional intelligence (EQ) as guided
SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 has reflected to lead in an atmosphere of everyone feels valued, heard & safe. Yes ✅, a collaborative & open mind, ❌ not stressful & strong personalities zone to work
She 👩🏻 wishes to be more open minded, not too quick to judge, then able to receive different thinking, ideas, opinions etc. when working & collaborating with others at work. Also able to understand & interpreting people that she is working with, then to communicate to connect effectively 💯👍🏻
She 👩🏻 practices active listening 👂🏻 , asks questions to seek clarification, ❌ not to react quickly & emotionally & 🛑 stops making assumptions

When writing this blog story here, SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻✅ has attended all coaching & mentoring sessions
During coaching sessions, she felt grateful 🙏🏻💖 with guidances received from Dr. Leez Hassan 🧕🏻 , all program members’ sharing & catch ups to check in each of the PERANTIS participants’ progresses, opportunity to seek clarification on final reflection writing (Her long blog story here 😆), capstone presentation about her leadership vision, goals, strengths, network & legacy (Her slides still in preparation) & awards 🏆🎖️🏅 selection criteria of PERANTIS program graduation 🎓 ceremony on 14 Feb 2026 😃😁
At times, she 👩🏻💪🏻 is personally being motivated by some of the PERANTIS participants that making good progress & felt proud of their achievements ie. A spa business opening by Yan, a successfully organized event by Lili, a legal business partnership progressing well in the making by Priya etc. 💯👏🏻🙌🏻👍🏻
- RESET Model With Dr. Milan LaBrey
SiennyLovesDrawing got realized that brain 👩🏻🧠✨ has limited space, so aims not to overload it unnecessary. She has reflected that her self doubts are not productive yet utilise her brain space. So, to lead her self greater, she will remind herself to RESET ~ Recognize own load, Empathy self, See own impact, Evaluate & align, Take action with integrity ~ from time to time to stay self awareness & keep her leadership clean. She needs to recognize own capacity, with “guts” to say NO ❌ to projects/ campaigns that don’t align with her own values or long-term vision. Then, she earns to protect her capacity for better 👍🏻 opportunities

She has reflected & agrees 👩🏻✅ that alignment to purpose matters more than achievement. So, she needs to be mindful to avoid being autopilot, over-giving, burn out etc. while delivering work commitments

SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 learnt & decides to adopt VUCA model when in storm from this mentoring session ie. V ~ VOLATILITY: Fast Change, U ~ UNCERTAINTY: Lack of Prediction, C ~ COMPLEXITY: Interconnected Mess & A ~ AMBIGUITY: Unclear Meaning. This will definitely prepare her well if storms happen then. Really appreciate this precious learning from mentor’s past experiences

She agrees 👩🏻✅ that vulnerability forma a source of strength. It’s ok 🆗 to seek help when in need from trusted family & friends. Always to remind own self is capable for more, able to create impacts & to own a fulfilling life 😃😁

SiennyLovesDrawing has reflected 👩🏻💡 that empathy in action uncovers other hidden causes to an issue. It’s important ❌ NOT to react when experiencing negative emotions to avoid confrontational situations

She realized 👩🏻✨ that life satisfaction remains as her goal in life. From LEAP, personally she resonates the most with ~ letter A in LEAP ie. Act with courage ~ She has reflected that progress towards every success comes from taking the next step. Success builds overtime with consistency of efforts. She decides to say “No ❌” more often because every “No ❌” protects her space for a bigger “Yes ✅”

✅ Own Initiatives
As part of her own initiative, SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻✅ has enrolled to attend a short course with 5️⃣ sessions each 2️⃣ hours with IMU University to learn non violent communication skills to improve her communication abilities. She has completed this short course & now continues to attend the monthly empathy online sessions
She has reflected that she is now more capable in sorting out her thoughts 💭 ✅ before conveying her message or replies, not forgetting her self empathy too, a more structured approach learnt

✅ Experience Sharing As A Group Leader
Ohh ya…She was being appointed as Group Leader with 🔟 group members during her recent participation to attend a 6️⃣D5️⃣N Chinese Traditional Culture Course with global participants. Frankly, she got stunned & wonder“Why me❓⁉️” when her name was put up on screen as group leader for Group Ti. As an introvert, she actually wishes to be just a normal participant for this course. Everything happens for a reason, a good reason ~ She took up the role eventually
Perhaps universal knows that she is in this PERANTIS program, so this opportunity for her to practice her leadership skills to manage a group of 🔟 members. She got 4️⃣ elderly group members that requires special attention ie. 2️⃣ pax with light Dementia, 1️⃣ pax with spinal issue, 1️⃣ pax with leg injury. Of course it takes up more of her energy to ensure all members follow through the whole course
Though she received compliments & good feedbacks that she was a good leader & managed her group well. Even the school principal now remembered & recognized her personally as Sienny, instead of Group Leader for Group Ti
However, she has reflected that she can improve greater. She realizes that she cannot do everything by herself. She needs to learn to delegate & share responsibilities with her Assistant Group Leader. She needs to be mindful for not overly emotional attached in her role
✅ What’s Next & Program Updates
✨Everything Happens For A Reason, Good Reason✨
Overall, SiennyLovesDrawing has reflected that 👩🏻💡 from before PERANTIS, “I don’t manage people. Why do I need leadership skills❓⁉️” &
Now after PERANTIS, 👩🏻✅ “Leadership still matters, when it’s JUST ME.” Because managing own self is harder & challenging
As a solopreneur, the most difficult “employee” is often own self, lol 🤣😝😆😂
She needs to improve self-awareness & self-leadership, thinking with a CEO 👩🏻💼💭 mindset to ensure long-term income sustainability
Leadership is her “guts” to say NO ❌ to projects/ campaigns that don’t align with her own values or long-term vision, protecting own capacity for better 👍🏻 opportunities
✨ Yes ✅, SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻🎯💯 aims for leading self, before leading others (Others could be anyone that she interacts with, not necessary team members or co-workers), hence she needs to learn & equip herself with leadership skills for sure ✨
✨ Leadership is not a position. It’s her personal journey of self awareness, growth & empathy to create impacts with purposes. It’s about knowing herself well enough, grow with grace, then to confidently lead self & others ✨
Today, 1️⃣st Feb, this PERANTIS self reflection writing here to submit as part of her PERANTIS Program completion 👩🏻✅
Next, in 1️⃣ week time, she supposed to deliver her PERANTIS capstone presentation 👩🏻🏫 about her leadership vision, goals, strengths, network & legacy
However, due to her work reschedule arrangements, she is unable to attend it physically with the rest of her PERANTIS peers. Instead, SiennyLovesDrawing has recorded her presentation as part of her PERANTIS Program completion 👩🏻✅ 👩🏻🏫📹
