This session featured Her Excellency Atifete Jahjaga 🇽🇰👩🏼‍💼, Former President of the Republic of Kosovo, whose historic election as the 1️⃣st woman & youngest head of state in Kosovo at her age of 35 stands as a landmark moment for women’s leadership & democratic transformation. Her Excellency’s presidency was distinguished by an unwavering commitment to building democratic institutions, strengthening the rule of law, advancing human rights & fostering reconciliation in a society emerging from conflict. Beyond her tenure in office, she has continued to play an influential role on the global stage, championing women’s empowerment, peace building, interfaith dialogue & inclusive development as cornerstones of a more just & stable world 🌎

Her Excellency 🇽🇰👩🏼‍💼 has shared that this was her 2️⃣and visit to Malaysia (1️⃣St visit was 🔟 years ago) & then expressed her sincere gratitude 🙏🏻💖 to Malaysia 🇲🇾 for being 1️⃣ of the countries that recognized Kosovo’s independence since 2008 & the continuous supports until today

It demonstrated how selfless as a leader to ensure those who have suffered most are never left behind. SiennyLovesDrawing 👩🏻 really loves her room view so so much 😍 😍, definitely exciting wake ups every morning 🔅🔆 during her stay

Hmm…She 👩🏻 wasn’t really pleased 😌 with its overly cold air-conditioned ❄️💨☃️ stay in its Superior room (24 sqm), even though she hid in the blanket, even until almost covered her head 👩🏻 during her sleepsss 😴💤

Suggest to opt for a foldable, then it can keep in clothes pocket/ bag on the go. This definitely reduce lots of single use plastic bags especially during shoppings

2️⃣. Reuse/ Refuse: Love 💗 coffee ☕️ / tea🍵/ juices 🥤/ smoothies🍹? Bring your own reusable cup. This definitely reduce ⬇️ lots of single use paper cups & plastic cover lids (hot ♨️ drinks) / plastic cups (cold🥤drinks)

3️⃣. Reuse/ Rethink: To avoid dehydration during on the go/ travels? Do bring a reusable bottle/ flask whenever travelling, this definitely reduce ⬇️ your chance to buy bottle mineral water, can beverage, packet beverage etc.

All have banded together 🤝 to jointly promote sub-regional tourism product development, market the GMS as a single travel destination & stage the annual MTF 😁👏🏻

3️⃣ main objectives to achieve via MTF 2018,

To raise ⬆️ the profile of the GMS as a single tourist destination📍
To provide an industry-wide platform for the public & private sectors to address sub-regional tourism issues 👍🏻
To expand marketing networks 🌐 & opportunities for promoting the GMS & pool collective resources to create intra-industry synergies 🤝

MTF 🌏 is an annual event for the travel industry professionals dedicated to putting the GMS on the global 🌍 travel map 🗺

Upon registration 📝, she received her media badge 🔖 which made with cardboard (without the usual plastic card case) & a handmade lanyard by the local people from the villages. Ohh my…Really touching her heart 💗, it’s so beautifully 😍 handmade. Superb love ❤️ it‼️

She has received from MTF 2018 🌏, 1️⃣ bamboo 🎋 straw which made by Bamboo Lao 🎋🇱🇦 with aim to reduce ⬇️ the use of plastic straws during this forum 🌏

Of course to reduce ⬇️ plastic bags, MTF 2018 🌏 has distributed a traditional bag 💼 produced by the villages, this bag 💼 has became her handy travel companion to carry her ipad mini, phone 📱 , refillable bottle 💦💧etc. from this forum onwards 😃 Don’t you think it’s a lovely 😍 accessories to her #OOTD❓⁉️🤗

Hmm…A designed limited edition refillable water 💦💧 bottle (2️⃣nd year as she was told) to raise ⬆️ awareness of plastic free 🆓 for all its delegates 👭👬👫 However, all 500 bottles pending custom clearance & hence not able to distribute as supposed. So disappointed as she was so looking forward to receiving it from the forum & would love ❤️ to use it whenever she travels 🛫🚂🚌🚐🚗🚕🚊around ☺️😌 Gonna buy 1️⃣ herself to reduce single use plastics from her next travels ✌🏻😁
