Spicing up the Orange

The 4 looks below revolves around the central theme of orange using 2 items – the Kavi Top from zaara and Sugarcube’s latest release, the Goldfish dress. I knew I needed to blog Sayuri’s latest release when I laid my eyes on it. The dress top is textured beautifully in lushful oriental patterns and the bottom is fill of creativity, from the uneven hems to the gradient colours of the prim. This dress is a necessity in every fashionista’s wardrobe I’ll say. Zaara is having a sale which ends on the 1st of june. It was by a dumb stroke of luck that I chose to get the orange top and it matches perfectly with the sugarcube dress skirt as seen in the 4th look.
The 1st look is a rather eccentric one, as a fabulous Nil put it. I was going crazy with accessories, adding necklaces, bangles and one earring. ^^ The ribbon from royal blue, which i shrank here, gave the outfit its crazy touch. Plus a milk carton which says “Man Killer” (Its the direct translation of the chinese words on it :O), I think I’m all dressed up for a crazy day at the carnival. Pity the RFL carnival is already over. I kinda miss the awesome rides and the funs hehez. Candle Swords released 2 new pose packs at her shop Pretzel*Poses. These pose packs are not as wild as her last few but still retain the funky and fun element which her shop is known for. The 2nd look was meant to be a cross between surfer girl and extravagance. The sugar cube dress came with longer and shirter pants and to my delight, the top and the short pants together make a perfect swimsuit. Modd *hugs* shared with me a jacket she completed yesterday and its simply awesome! I’m so proud of her and what she has been accomplishing the past few months. She has been improving so much. The collar of this jacket is wondrous and the addition of a ribbon to the front gave its girly touch. Rather than the usual straw heads linked to beach looks, I chose this rather glamourous large hat seem like one right out of the closet of Blair waldorf ^^ The bag is from ami*s, a store which I’ve been wanting to blog for a while but never had the chance to. The shop offers a selection of cute and cheap bad and the one shown below is only 50L and comes with cute sunglasses and magazines on the inside. The skin shown in this look is Hope by Tuli, an unreleased skin shared with the group. If you havn’t joined Tuli’s group, now is the time to do so. The 250L joining fee is extremely worth it as Tuli pampers her memebers with gifts almost every few weeks. I’ve never really worn Tuli’s skins as they never seem to fit me well. But this latest line fit my shape like a glove and won me over completely. I absolutely love those lips shading and the slightly pointy sides. Plus the thin eyeliner at the top eyelid, whee! I also kinda favour skins with drawn on eye lashes like the one below which is really useful when the hat or sunglasses attaches to nose, removing our prim lashes, which happened below. The 3rd look – Just the dress and a lace vest from Noar for a garden party (?) Kalnins shoes which really matches everything decorated my feet once again. The 4th look, well nothing much to point out. The hair accessory is from a shop previously featured, E!. Chopsticks in my SL prim hair, a practical accessory especially when there’s no utensils around XD. lmao. Aden reopened and the hair shown below Carrie, is on of the new releases. I love hairs with fringes plus this one, the ponytail and loose hair from the back flow gracefully to the front sides. <3 The eyes are made by my talented friend Nedeko Kohime. Her shop bodyline which is reknowned for their unique ethnic shapes have recently branched out into eyes. The shading on the eyes is flawless. The eyes comes in many shades and definitely worth checking out. On the side note, Nina and I came to a conclusion someone needs to make another high waisted belt like the maiiki one below which is really useful for hiding the jerky transitions between skirt prims and tops. I’ve been playing with poses the past few days and the pose is one which I’ve created. *Shamless plugin lolx* ZOMG right lolx.

The country girl vibe is still with me. Just a few things to point out in this look. The shirt is from the same shop, marble, as the skirt from the last post. Its unisex and comes in all layers for only 50L. What attracted me was the different neckline of the shirt, which is rather different compared to other 2 layer shirts. I like the fact that the purple “inner” shirt is not hidden but seems part of the whole design. The hair is from LoveKitty. Thanks Modd for the tp to the shop. The hair is super sweet and cute. Several colours of this hair style are also avaliable in the lucky chairs that seem to favour W. Hmmmm… XD

I wrote the title then realise I never watched the sun rise or set before O_O Lmao..
The weather has been horrid this couple of days and I’ve been sweatering in front of the computer so yea I’m in a summer mood already and thus the summer colours for this look.
This look started with the feather Hair accessory that i picked up at mixxwhile lucky chair stalking. The beads and feather was so awesome that I knew i HAVE to blog them and thus prompted me to search for the right items for a bohemian look. Mixx is a small shop with some cute accesories and mainly bohemian clothing. The skirt is a recent find from a shop called marbles. I seem to be on a printed flower skirts roll XD and the vibrant prints of this skirt won my heart immediately. Instant buy despite the fact I don’t really wear much long skirts in SL or RL. Plus the 50L price tag = much loves for the store. The shirt is a new release from Niniko, a store i’ve been following ever since Anya <3 “brainwashed” me XD. Niniko clothing is indeed getting better and better with release after release. I love the soft cotton texture of this blouse. I’m super picky about how the skirt or shirt prim continues from the clothing itself and am super satisfied with this. Kae Sahara has done a superb job with this shirt, especially since there seem to be a change of textures between the bottom prim and the shirt itself. Pixel Mode is having a 50L sale on shoes and clothing this weekend. The gladiator sandals seem a awesome match for the outfit. I have never shopped and pixel mode before *gasp* and was immediately won over by their shoes when I saw it on the feed. Its really well made and some shoes come with a bonus colour. At this price and with such incentives, these shoes are definitely a steal prompting me to buy the shoe without trying the demo like i usually will XD. The sale ends today so brave the lag and head down! The bangles are a creation of Indian Fashion Goddess Zaara Kohime. Love at first sight with those accessories O_O. Gosh I love how she turned something like multiple indian bangles into a unique design. And the textures are simply breathtaking as usual.

Meh, I’m just in a disney mood today after hearing an awesome piano rendition of the Aladdin song. A whole new world.. ahh or a whole new shop XD. If you havn’t heard, So Many Styles have moved their mainshop and its official opening is this sunday. Irie Campese is a total sweetie and shared with me some of her new goodies that are going to be released on sunday, including this beautiful red blouse shown below. <3 Her signature shading and detailing are evident and consistent on her new releases. Fans of her earlier works will probably be won over by this new collection too. Definitely worth a trip during our sunday shopping madness. The hair is a new release by Junwave and Lovesoul. I’m absolutely in love with it and the texture is simply wonderful. When i zoomed I could see fine strands.. O_O so kudos for the realistic texture. The inner shirt is from the shop [insert cool name] owned by Malte ANTFARM. Its a guy shop but the shirt is a perfect fit for us females as well. I did mod the shirt a little and shortened the sleeves to fit within the blouse. In preparation for summer, the green and yellow cutesy skirt from cupcakes protected by tush teehee. The ring is from a camping chair in U&R dogs. Wow the 30 mins spent there was entirely worth it. This accessory is a set of 3 rings. Well, not only is each of the ring unique in its own merits and all 3 have the ability harmonise perfectly together, the stone is colour changing. I’m not sure how long the prize will be avaliable so hurry down before its gone! XD

A quickie cause the grey anatomy’s video in the other window is beckoning me O_O.
Boon released some awesome new hair which seem retextured(?) and I absolutely love this style as shown below. The jacket is a gift from Malt for Blogger’s Appreciation week, which has been totally fun! The random group chats were fun. Again, thanks callie and all the officers for their hard work! Muacks to all the designers for their awesomeness gift even though I don’t think blogging is really hard work, its more like a hobby :) The necklace from mocorin is absolutely pretty and I feel that they have come a long way from their earlier work. Its not visible in the picture below but there is a pretty bow at the back of the necklace and this design is really unique. Kalnins new shoes are adorable and can change a million of colours and have a million of options. I couldn’t resist it. Plus at 500L, a shoe like this is a steal. <3 Hope you enjoy this look! <3

ZOMG my fashion relay post is coincidently my 50th blog post hahaz. Not much to celebrate but well.. XD
This song, Voice on the Radio by Marie Digby, has been stuck in my head for the past few days. This song though simple, it inspired me to dress in a way to convey the emotions from the song, which hopefully I have done so below. Well, fashion and music are a great match XD. *Takes a deep breath* Alot to gush about today eeps. So here goes..
Miu recently released pairs of shorts that seem perfect for the beach.They simply reminded me of a pair I own in RL from the store Roxy (Its a store from australia specializing in beach wear). These shorts are a perfect addition to my “comfort wear” closet, a must with the “domokun flu” rampaging around Hbox. *Hehehez don’t ask me what is it, ask the admins LOL* The cardigan is from the shop, E! Eclectic Apparel and Accessories. OMG i <3 modd for tping me to the shop. Its packed with goodies mostly below the 50L price mark. Shown below is the maroon version of the glitter cardigan, something that caught my eyes immediately. The texture is superb and I can’t believe its only 40L. Plus, it comes in all possible layers! Simply a steal. E! Eclectic Apparel and Accessories is also participating in the discovery hunt so do keep a look out for that magnifying glass while you are there. *Hint: Look at the vendors and leave the floors and corners alone =)* One of my favourite shape makers, Carissa Crimson has entered the lashes buisness and all I have to say is “You go girl!” I love the entire set of lashes which are versatile and suitable for daily wear. Worn below is the pair entitles Dangerours *ooh* which caught my eyes immediately cause of its fuller top eyelash compared to the bottom. A big thumbs up for the lashes being one that I can repositioned rather quickly in that Hbox lag. *Thankies cari for them!*
Bonus picture today, well cause I have to show you the “belt”…
The belt is actually… a WAIST POUCH O_o With an adorable teddy and rabbit decorating my tush. *Points to the picture below* Isn’t the pouch so cute! There’s even a camera in it! Its from the store *~MM’s~*, which primarily specializes in making belts. The pouch features includes changable textures and it comes with a pelvis and stomach attachment point. The chocolate flower ring is avaliable at a steal from a shop Anya previously blogged about on freestyle. Its so well made and I still can’t believe its only 50L. There are many other rings avaliable at 50L from the shop and some even include hair accessories and necklaces. So do check it out! <3

Her Royal Blue-ness

First and foremost, Happy Mother’s Day to all the mummys or mummys-soon-to-be out there! Muacks! <3
I’m so happy Marni is finally releasing the spring collection of Royal Blue! I’ve been one of those lusting after the collection after looking at the endless teasers she was posting on plurk. Yea the teasers have been tortuous hahaz. I was absolutely blown away by the Spring Bum *hehehez this name is cute too* skirt from this new collection. The entire skirt is filled with beautifully scrulpted flowers. One word that left hanging on my mouth when I tried it was a simple wow! The royal blue collection would be avaliable in stores sometime soon so keep an eye on the blog or SOM :) Another highlight of the week would be the return of Sayuri Cremorne. Sugarcube is bustling with activity again! XD The top of the not square dress (which has a pretty bubble skirt not shown below), seem to flow perfectly with the royal blue skirt or rather bum *hehehez*. The bangle is one I grabbed after reading dearest Nil’s blog. I think that Naith Smit should create more jewellery, which he obviously has a huge talent for :) A word of caution to anyone buying it, the bangle is no copy and adjusted to fit men wrist. Its fairly simple to shrink it to fit the female AV but do be careful cause its like no copy? hehez. Even so, the bangle is worth the trouble.
Speaking about dearest Nil Giha, who has been like MIA in SL for the past 3 weeks…. Bugsie! I miss you and your randomness. Come back from RL when you can okie! I dun care if you have to make me hungry at 3am again to come back XD. Hope you are well! Muacks! Lurve ya! <3

My finger still hurts :( Not much in a typing mood today…
Tekuteku released some new hairs and this hairstyle, the ribbon style, is one of my fave new release. Tekuteku hair has such a girly touch to it. Worn together with the newly purchased :D curio skins, I felt that time has gone backwards and I’m back in my childhood. The innocent expression the april 2 skins gave my shape got me into the mood to put together this little white ensemble, brighten up only by the basket of flowers, which are Dark Mouse’s May Group Gift. The top is from the pearl formal gown by KIWI. *Thank you Ivori!* The delicate gold designs on the top of the dress, provided the detailing for this otherwise rather plain outfit. This gown is only one of the awesome designs that KIWI has to offer. KIWI has a collection of clothes ranging from really casual to formal. I even saw pretty hair accessories in the shop. The shoes from Haysueiza completed the look. Have a lovely thursday nights folks! <3
