Rayvn, the incredible creator behind Mudhoney, one of my fave furni stores of all time has recently began working on tools to make a photographer’s/bloggers/anyone’s life easier. Introducing the photoble… the concept of a miniroom that brings one to a different world in weird places eg. above my skybox (where I rezzed it XD) with a few simple clicks. The whole thing can be derezzed too after use! Talk about saving prims. The shabby girl photoble has to be my favourite so far. It is every little girl’s dream room, my happy place. The light colours and adorable touches around the room are simply irresistable. I have been waiting for my brain to churn out an outfit which blends with the theme and was glad to be able to use it today. Well.. this is a snapshot of an elven in her room. XD <3 Tomoyo

I’M SO GLAD ITS FINALLY FRIDAY. School has been horribly stressful this week gah. Bringing you with this post includes ugly dorothy’s new release, the lillbe skin, an exclusive to the black market, a simply stunning scopeback tank from this is a fawn, doozer.. ahem.. i mean undo’s new jewellery whee! and last but not least, a cute powder skirt which was released this past week by sayuri. I have to draw your attention to the hat right now. I stumbled upon the shop Style Society while waiting for a shop to rez the other day. *Apparently the neighbouring store rezzed faster than the store I was in >.<* This hat is one of their latest creations. It features a colour-changeable base and rim and a buckle at the side which can change in shape! All for a mere price of 50L. The hat is avaliable in packs of 5 colours each, printed or plain. Ahh good deals… there’s 50L fridays and poop hunt right now too! Going off to bury myself under textbooks again. <3<3 Tomoyo

Anxious For Fri.day

Fri.day has been creating lots of buzz around the grid this few months. A “mysterious” group of designers, terrific teasers and a smart marketing strategy that leave us yearing for more.. Well the wait will soon be over as fri.day will be officially open on friday. XD Below, I’m wearing some of the pieces that are part of their collection. The collection is basic and aims to “provide a good selection of basic separates that work well together and are also versatile enough that anyone can mix.match our items with their existing wardrobe”. Well, I tested the theory myself and here’s the result. The inner shirt which is actually a cardi, tee and crisp pants are from fri.day. This is just one look I’ve created and there are a million other possiblities to mix and match their items. One thing I noticed was that Fri.day offers the bottom part of tees and jacket in the jacket layer alone. Its unusual for people to do that and I applaud them for their effort. This definitely brings in more posibilities during mix and matching. Fri.day also offer a selection of hair and shoes but that’s for tmr. ^^ The other buzz around the grid would be from the upcoming brand Anexx, by the infamous machang Pichot (thankies! <3) Fans of her existing line at Aoharu would definitely not be disappointed by these beauties. *well i stared at them in awe for quite some time* The shoes all come with prim feets when necessary and the hud that comes with them have been modified extensively, making them more user friendly. They come with the usual hud and a skintone ball which allows you to select the skintone colour manually like the kookie ones so yay for easy matching! Well I managed to find my skintone in one of those defaults avaliable so doube whoopee? ^^ Anyways watch the respective shops’ blog for more details and slurls. Hope you enjoy them! <3

I haven been waiting “patiently” for these set of hair from ::69:: for ages! *shrieks* They are finally available! My favourite out of the bunch is Beni. The short hair, and the adorable turban with a cute anchor pin on it just reads “cruise ship”. It just so happened that poopoo, i mean, Anya Ohmai <3 finished her Catherine blouse the day before. This is one of the items that would be available in her upcoming shop. I watched (read *stalk*) her every night during the making of this blouse and I’m entirely blown away by her brilliance. The sneakers are awesome cheapies from Magi Take. For just 45L, you get a whole bunch of sneakers in various colours. Plus, the items are trans, so you can share them with your friends! <3

All these not able to log into SL was making me feel rather rebellious. Hence the rather erm “revealing outfit”.. I don’t strut around my grid showing my bra most of the time. Point aside, this cupcakes bra was simply too lovely not to make an outfit for. Not gonna say much as I’m feeling rather anti SL right now… Hope you like the outfit!

Pardon me for the long wait between posts.. RL caught me again.
Valentine’s Day has a different meaning for me this year. It is widely recognised as the mushy mushy season. Then again, I’m not so much in a valentine’s day mood after watching the new Taylor Swift MTV, White Horse. Watch it here. Sorry, I just have to pimp my fabourite singer! The video left me in tears :(
Sure, Valentine’s Day is the day for lovers such that many singles cringe. The sights of kissing couples line the streets and we aren’t spared in SL either. However, we have to be thankful for the designers to take our heartbroken minds off this fact LOL. For the coupled, these sales and hunts are perfect avenues to find THE outfit for the big day. Thanks to the kindness of these individuals, Valentine’s Day has officially becomed the 2nd season of sharing and giving. I have been going OH WOW, so many sales and hunts, so little time these few days. Here’s a recap: Pink Outfitters and pixeldolls 50L sale, ARMIDI 50% sale of pink items (I was just lamenting about how armidi won’t give sales last week when ding’s blog throw this on me wow..), Truth and fascino 50L sale… And of course we can’t forget the Vain Kiss Hunt and Greatest Love Frid Wide Hunts.
Moving on to the fashion, today’s outfit was again inspired by another Pink’s outfitters item, the Builder Jumpsuit. Do I have to even comment about the textures?! Initial thoughts of combining it with a gold jacket was crushed after I realised that the upper part only had a jacket layer. Yet, the shade of brown (which made me craving for some chocs) simply beckoned me to play with one of my favourite colours. The cupcake lace top nicely covered my nipples. The fanciful black lace around the neck was a bonus, allowing the shirt to double as a “necklace”. Oh THE SKIN. Its my FAVOURITE cupcake skins! It fit my shape perfectly with minimal adjustments (mainly at the mouth for me as these lips are drawn bigger than my usual). I love every makeup mimi and rosemary offered in their line. The shading is perfect. Well I don’t normally do naked shots so the face is really important for me. Those lips just beckons me and screams kiss me, perfect for V-day (?) Soft skins… mmhmm… a step away from my usual redgraves. The one I’m using here is the valentine’s day gift. The juicy red lips and the nude-ish eyeshadow is a perfect combination. Plus those adorable hearts “stickers” on the eyes? A double Whopee! Reminds me of the diamond hearts some taiwan celebrities love to wear. Armwarmers plus a trenchcoat thrown over my shoulders and I’m ready for any pre-valentine’s day shopping trips. Have a great shopping before the date/party this sat! You have T minus 1 day left :P
