There are some designers that never fail to impress you. Sugarcube and Ohmai are some of them. In lieu of the opening of The Black Market, I went with a folk theme here. the ruffles shirt and the belt which is a part of a pirate-style pants made by Anya are some of the exclusives avaliable at the black market from the aforementioned stores. I was looking for something in barerose when i landed in the accessories section. Lo and Behold, I found the bag which I lusted for but never did find it after seeing it on the barerose blog a few weeks back. \ o / On the sidenote, I’m slowly trying to catch up with blogging, and fitting back into a student life… so if I promise you smth and its not up yet, it’ll be up ASAP kays? 2 looks today as I can’t decide which I like better. They really are opposites of each other, and hence displaying the different facades of Tomoyo perfectly. The first is a casual, “rock” style I’ve been wearing around while the other is a rather girly style, which in my opinion, is suitable for a walk in the garden. For the first, I used the same shirt, the barerose one, as yesterday but gave it a whole new twist, a step down from the candy girl look I posted yesterday. The junwave hair gave it the perfect rocker chick edge. Instead of staying with the sepia tones, I gave the look a slight touch of purple, my favourite colour. The shirt doesn’t completely cover the upper parts of the leggings, which are higher than my shorts, but I love how the black peeks from under the shirt. It might not be obvious in the pics below though. The 2nd look… ahh thank you alyssa for dragging me to Shirohato. This dress is perfect! It can be won from from the lucky chair or bought from the vendor at a mere price of 40L. I really love the simplicity of the dress. Plain, and only decorated by some pale flowers. I kept the whole look clean and did not really accessorise. Plus point about the dress, it comes with 3 skirt options – a short one to wear the top as a blouse, a skirt which starts from the hips, and the last, which I’m wearing in the pics below, which starts from the waist. Shirohato also offers a selection of cheap but high quality dresses, all under 100L. Just gotta to love cheap places like these <3
On the sidenote, sorry for the demo skins used. I was playing demos in my skybox.. again. Its my little Bad SL quirk. I’m totally in love with these curio skins. Lovely is really lovely. I’m wearing the 2nd lightest skintone, a huge jump from my usual tan skins. I thought the light ones brought emphasis on the lovely makeup. Love those lips! One of the best red lips I’ve come across. Maybe I’ll get themm hmmm… not in moonshine though… Oh sorry for the photoshopped pics too. I miss photoshop after a month(?) of abstinence :P However, I only played with the lighting. No shading was involved.. so whatever you see here should be rather true to the originals inworld snapshots.
Ps. Oh no, I’m loving pale skins again! Is that good? or bad? hahaz. Ange has to corrupt me again :P

Yes the title is from the Lady Gaga’s song, The fame. But no, this isn’t another gaga post :P. Lady Gaga just set me in a dance mood and hence the outfit. I was inspired by Taylor Momsen, aka Jenny Humphrey on Gossip Girl who is normally seen with a leather jeacket thrown over a dress. Of course she sticks to the monotones. On the other hand, I decided to brighten up the outfit which shades of blues. Being rooted to a sim after 8pm my time due to the lousy internet connection has shorten my shopping time by ALOT. Thus the decision to use some old stuff I found in my inventory – the purple leather jacket from Aoharu (I forgot to pick a black version of this during the sale. Bangs head!), The GiGi Cotoure Dress which has been “missing” in my inventory for the longest time possible, and this pair of maitreya limelight (which is/was a gift on the GG sim i believe). The shades are a new discovery of mine from this little Japnese Store, Elysion Optics. They are scripted! and have the largest amount of functions I’ve seen in a pair of sunglasses. From autosmile to fly booster to anti push, plus the basic functions any scripted glasses have (ability to change the len colour, to rotate/ reposition or resize it. Just Wow. *In my head, Elysion Optics shall be known as the shop that makes wonder glasses :P* The price is rather reasonable at 280L (?) a pair <3 Have a great weekend everyone!

Spring Cleaning

Yes! I finally got down to inventory cleaning again. The pain of doing it or the joy of unrevealing the dusty old dress stash away beneath the junk – I can’t decide which feeling is better. Its kind of weird to open the inventory and see only a few folders. I really like the combination of green and pink in this outfit. The look is rather laid back, suits my mood after a day of sorting. I would really like to highlight the shoes in this outfit. A girl can never have too may comfy flats. Even our Sl feets need a rest sometimes. This particualr pair are an unreleased pair by Ding. It has a really cool print on it. As usual, they come with the option of back or front bows. Oh speaking about the bows, I’m totally in love with them! They’re one of the nicest I’ve seen so far. Thanks Ding! I love it!
