Canada Removes Terrorist Websites

A new area for righteous activists, moralists, ethicists, and the superb intelligence units of the US and Israeli governments to combat and destroy. From Canada Removes Terrorist Websites:

The Canadian Internet service provider iWeb recently removed three websites powered by Hamas and Hizbullah - both designated as terrorist organizations in Canada. Jonathan Halevi, co-founder of the Orient Research Group Ltd. and a senior researcher of the Middle East and radical Islam at the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs, had filed a complaint after discovering that an official Hamas website was being hosted in Canada. After reporting that Hizbullah may be activating sleeper cells in Canada, CBC questioned iWeb about two additional websites, one promoting Hizbullah and the other in support of Hamas, both of which were eventually taken down.

According to Halevi, as much as 95% of online activity powered by terrorist organizations, including al-Qaeda and Hamas, is hosted by American servers.

"Nobody is getting sued for supporting terrorist organizations on the Web. There is an urgent need for an international Internet police," he said.

A Plan for Fighting Jihadist Activity in the U.S.

From A Plan for Fighting Jihadist Activity in the U.S.:
In mid-April, Rep. Sue Myrick (R-NC) unveiled a ten-point plan for fighting against jihadist activity in the U.S.

1) Investigate all military chaplains endorsed by Abdurahman Alamoudi, who is serving 23 years in prison for funding jihad terrorism.
2) Investigate all prison chaplains endorsed by Alamoudi.
3) Investigate the selection process of Arabic translators working for the Pentagon and the FBI.
4) Examine the non-profit status of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, which has had several of its officials convicted on jihad terror-related charges, and was named an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas funding case.
5) Make it an act of sedition or solicitation of treason to preach or publish materials that call for the deaths of Americans.
6) Audit sovereign wealth funds in the U.S.
7) Cancel scholarship student visa program with Saudi Arabia until they reform their textbooks, which preach hatred and violence against non-Muslims.
8) Restrict religious visas for imams who come from countries that don't allow reciprocal visits by non-Muslim clergy.
9) Cancel contracts to train Saudi police and security in U.S. counterterrorism tactics.
10) Block the sale of sensitive military munitions to Saudi Arabia.
All in favor, say Aye.

Those Who Harm Israel Will Pay the Full Price

From Those Who Harm Israel Will Pay the Full Price:
Predictions regarding Israel's possible demise are becoming increasingly fashionable among some elements worldwide. Israel is the only country in the world that sees other countries calling for wiping it off the map. On Holocaust Memorial Day, we are permitted to - and in fact, obligated to - make it clear to others that there will be no situation whereby the State of Israel will be harmed without those who perpetrate this, including their collaborators, paying the full price for it. The decree "Never Again" does not only mean that no longer will we be defenseless, but also that those who harm us will not be spared.

Conventional armies can indeed defeat terrorist insurgencies

Received by email from JCPA. The Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs has issued an important new JCPA publication by Maj.-Gen. (res.) Yaakov Amidror: http://jcpa.org/text/Amidror-perspectives-2.pdf.

Contrary to popular belief, conventional armies can indeed defeat terrorist insurgencies. This study will detail the six basic conditions which, if met, enable an army to fight and win the war against terrorism, among which are control of the ground where the insurgency is being waged, acquiring relevant intelligence for operations against the terrorists themselves, and isolating the insurgency from cross-border reinforcement with manpower or material.

It will also examine the factors that can help drive a wedge between the local population and the insurgent forces seeking its support. The principles of war will also be analyzed in terms of their applicability to asymmetric warfare to show how they still serve as a vital guide for armies in vanquishing terror.

Finally, the study warns that if the U.S., Israel, or their Western allies incorrectly conclude that they have no real military option against terrorist insurgencies - out of a fear that these conflicts inevitably result in an unwinnable quagmire - then the war on terrorism will be lost even before it is fully waged.
