The People's Cube Pwns Iranian Propaganda

pwned: A corruption of the word "Owned." This originated in an online game called Warcraft, where a map designer misspelled "owned." When the computer beat a player, it was supposed to say, so-and-so "has been owned."Instead, it said, so-and-so "has been pwned."It basically means "to own" or to be dominated by an opponent or situation, especially by some god-like or computer-like force.

The excellent satirical website, The People's Cube, has pwned Iran's propaganda website, Press TV, which used one of The People's Cube's spoof images to illustrate a "true" statement that Jews are welcome in Iran and that Western reports about mass emigration of Iranian Jews are "lies spread by the Zionist hegemony." From The People's Cube:

The spoof image in question first appeared in 2005, in our parody called Israel Dismantles; World's Problems End, which revealed the absurdity of demands to dismantle Israel, with various nations, including Iran and Germany, celebrating the return of their long-missed Jews.
It gets better. Our Iranian friends tell us that the original Farsi-language placard says "Nuclear power is our absolute right," which means that you, dear Mullahs, used that image as a propaganda tool to advance your nuclear program - so you could threaten and maybe even annihilate the Jews in Israel. In our spoof, we changed the message of the placard to the complete opposite, making it appear improbable. To be fair, your story about Iran's love for the Jews was just as improbable, so it would seem only logical to put them together. It would, we repeat - if your goal were to publish a self-parody. That wasn't your intention, however. You only did it because you didn't know better.

What is Muslim land?

The virus calling itself Osama bin Laden emerged once again to vow in a new audiotape Saturday, that he and his followers will expand the Muslim holy war to Israel, threatening "blood for blood, destruction for destruction." The muslim went on to say "We intend to liberate Palestine, the whole of Palestine from the (Jordan) river to the sea," he said, threatening "blood for blood, destruction for destruction. We will not recognize even one inch for Jews in the land of Palestine as other Muslim leaders have." Same crap, different day.

Let's talk about Muslim land. Who and what are the origins of the hubris of Islam to lay claim to any land it occupies, breaches and terrorizes? What is "Muslim land"? What are its borders? Is the Arabian nation truly one nation? If so, then why are Egyptians called Egyptians and not Arabs? What is the caliphate? The Islamic empires of the Middle Ages were ruled by caliphs. Is there a call to reintroduce the caliphate? Is your land next?

Without the Khilafah, the Jews will continue to occupy our sacred places and kill and humiliate our brothers in Palestine. Without the Khilafah, the Islamic peoples in Bosnia, Chechnya, Afghanistan, Iraq, Kashmir, Uzbekistan and so on will continue to be killed....Without the Khilafah, those Muslims who do not work seriously for its implementation will be sinful and incur the anger of Allâh, even if they fast, pray, make Hajj [pilgrimage] and pay Zakah [alms]. This is because the work to establish the Khilafah Rashidah is a fard [obligation] on every Muslim, and it should be conducted with the most extreme effort and utmost speed.[...]

Well, just from the above passage, we have learned that Muslims believe that they own Bosnia, Chechnya, Afghanistan, Iraq, Kashmir, Uzbekistan, Kashmir, Philippines, and Thailand. They also lay claim to the entity calling itself "palestine" but we already know that "palestine" was never a nation, just another region stolen by and occupied by Muslims. Robert Spencer adds:

And there is something else also. In Islamic law, jihad warfare may be defensive or offensive. Jihad is ordinarily fard kifaya – an obligation on the Muslim community as a whole, from which some are freed if others take it up. Jihad becomes fard ayn, or obligatory on every individual Muslim to aid in any way he can, if a Muslim land is attacked. That is what jihadists argue today – that the American presence in Iraq and Afghanistan makes jihad fard ayn, or obligatory on every individual Muslims.

But still, that is just jihad for the defense of Muslim lands. There is also offensive jihad, in line with Muhammad’s command that Muslims offer non-Muslims conversion to Islam, subjugation as inferiors under Islamic rule, or war. But in Islamic law, only the caliph is authorized to wage offensive jihad.

That’s a primary reason why jihadists want to restore the caliphate. Some would even say that they’ve already done so. In 1996 the Taliban’s Mullah Omar went to the shrine of the Respectable Cloak of Muhammad in Kandahar and stood on the roof of the shrine wrapped in the cloak. His followers proclaimed him Emir al Momineen, or leader of the believers – a title of the caliph. So far, however, only a jihadist group in Algeria has joined the Taliban in accepting Mullah Omar as caliph.

In any case, the desire to restore the caliphate ultimately highlights the expansionist, imperialist, totalitarian, globalist aims of the jihad movement, even as today it presents itself as a defensive action against Western evils. This is, I believe, a crucial point for our understanding the enemy properly, so that we can formulate the proper defensive responses. If we don’t understand what we’re up against correctly, we will not defend ourselves properly against it. And that is, unfortunately, in many ways the fix we’re in today.

Now, by the time of his death in 632 AD, Muhammad had extended his control via raids and battles over most of southern Arabia. Near the end of his life, Muhammad sent letters to the empires of the Middle East demanding their submission to his authority. This dispels any notion that the Muhammad intended Islam's expansion to stop with Arabia. Muhammad fought and crushed the people of the Arabian peninsula. Other Caliphs fought and crushed the people of the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Europe, all in the name of Allah. Arab Muslim armies occupied and terrorized the Holy Land, conquered what is now Iraq and Iran, then swept west across North Africa, into Spain, and finally into France. Forunately, the Muslim offensive was halted at the Battle of Poitiers/Tours, not far from Paris, in 732 AD. But, in the east, the jihad penetrated deep into Central Asia.

In another excellently researched article, Robert Spencer writes "Almost overnight, the more advanced civilizations of the Middle East, North Africa, Persia, and Iberia saw their agriculture, native religions, and populations destroyed or plundered... jihad engulfed much of the Byzantine, Visigothic, Frankish, and Persian Empires and left the newborn Islamic Empire controlling territory from Southern France, south through Spain, east across North Africa to India, and north to Russia. Early in the second millennium AD, the Mongol invasion from the east greatly weakened the Islamic Empire and ended Arab predominance therein."

Robert Spencer adds,

"Some twenty-five years before the first Crusading army set out from central Europe for the Holy Land, the Turkish (Ottoman) armies began an assault on the Christian Byzantine Empire, which had ruled what is now Turkey since the Roman Empire’s capital was moved to Constantinople in 325 AD. At the battle of Manzikert, in 1071, the Christian forces suffered a disastrous defeat, which left much of Anatolia (Turkey) open to invasion. This second wave of jihad was temporarily held up by the invading Latin Armies during the Crusades (see Islam 101 FAQs), but, by the beginning of the 14th century, the Turks were threatening Constantinople and Europe itself. In the West, Roman Catholic armies were bit by bit forcing Muslim forces down the Iberian peninsula, until, in 1492, they were definitively expelled (the Reconquista).

One of the most significant engagements between the invading Muslims and the indigenous peoples of the region was the Battle of Kosovo in 1389, where the Turks annihilated a multinational army under the Serbian King, St. Lazar, though their progress into Europe was significantly slowed. After numerous attempts dating back to the seventh century, Constantinople, the jewel of Eastern Christendom, finally fell in 1453 to the armies of Sultan Mahomet II. Lest one ascribe the atrocities of the first wave of jihad to the "Arabness" of its perpetrators, the Turks showed they were fully capable of living up to the principles of the Quran and the Sunnah."

Here is a map of the second wave of jihad from 1099 through 1492.We all know the canard perpetrated by Muslims that Muslims are not attacking their enemies, but only counterattacking, so that if non-Muslims would only stop provoking them, all would be well.

Those maps above say otherwise. History says otherwise. That is why when Osama bin Laden talks, he utters orthodox Islam: Muslims must convert non-Muslims by force, if necessary, or otherwise kill them. This is why Islam has been on the attack since its birth in the 7th century AD. Muhammad started fighting to force conversions and his followers continue to fight to this day, hoping to spread Islam throughout the world.

Logical arguments as to why Islam is appealing to so many millions of people are scarce, which is why moderate Islam today is nearly non-existant, and with regards to deception and mendacity, for Muslims, history renews itself each day. This is all the more reason why Osama bin Laden and his vicious followers need to be hunted down, targetted, and destroyed.

So, readers, when Muslims in Dearborn, Michigan, hold an anti-American, anti-Israel demonstration and carry signs bearing slogans such as “US Hands Off Muslim Land”, now you'll know what they're talking about.

Islamist Terrorist Network In America

We already know that there is an Islamist Terrorist Network in America. Steve Emerson and other independent investigators have performed a great service by documenting the jihadist's pernicious existence in American neighborhoods. Now we learn that two Muslim members of a prison gang in California pleaded guilty Friday to charges of planning to run an “American intifada,” targeting synagogues, U.S. military bases, Los Angeles Airport, Israeli embassies and consulates, and U.S. government sites. The two face sentences of between 20 years in prison on the conspiracy charges, while one could be sentenced to life for a previous crime. The two were members of a prison gang called Jam'iyyat Ul-Islam Is-Saheeh, established specifically to target “enemies of Islam.” According to the FBI, the plot was in advanced stages when the two Muslim phucks were arrested in 2005.

The proposed second Palestinian state is to have “territorial continuity” linking Gaza with Judea and Samaria. The Palestinians demand that any territory Israel keeps e.g. Ariel and Ma’ale Adumim be compensated with Israeli territory, not in its southern Negev but from its center.

Thus at a mimimum this is what a proposed second Palestinian state would look like. Then will come the rest of the demands – the Arabs of the Galilee and those of the Negev be allowed to join – with their territory – this second Palestinian state. In 1974 Yasir Arafat, head of the PLO and his lieutenants, which included Mahmoud Abbas (current PA President) declared a policy of “liberating all of Palestine (i.e. Israel) in stages. That policy is coming to pass.

The practice of Muslims stoning others until they are dead

Liberals can give a damn about human life or genocide when Jews are slaughtered or when Americans are blown to smithereens in their offices or when Christians in the Sudan are disemboweled and decapitated. And they are keenly silent when Muslims stone other Muslims to death. Where is the outrage? An excerpt from Human Rights Travesty:

Iran’s Interior ministry confirmed the sentence, handed down ten days earlier by a court in the north of the country, condemning a man to death by stoning.

If you’ve never witnessed a stoning (and most of us haven’t, I trust), you can get a flavor for the barbarity of this Koranic punishment from a short video clip shot at one of these events.

The fellows in military dress belong to the bassij force of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, the thugs and enforcers the regime uses to cow the Iranian population – or, as in this case, to whip up the frenzy of its remaining supporters.

The YouTube version of stoning is mercifully brief. Iranian human rights activist Dr. Manouchehr Ganji sat down with me a few years ago and showed me the full Monty, and it’s not a pretty sight. You see, the rocks have to be just the right size: not too large, so they won’t kill the victim outright, and not too small, as to be harmless.

The victim is wrapped in a white shroud and cemented into a hole in the ground up to the waist, arms wrapped to his sides. It can take fifteen minutes or more of pounding by the crowd for the first blood to appear through the shroud. Until then, the crowd seems to just mill about. Some are just curious onlookers. The bassijis, always helpful, have rocks ready and make sure that everyone gets their shot. Many of them miss the target.

But when the blood appears, the bassijis go wild. This part has been censored from the YouTube version. This is where they break free from the circle and make their mad dashes up close to the victim, smashing their skull with rocks. They come in like banderillos at a bullfight, or like vultures descending on carrion. In the video Dr. Ganji showed me, you can see the froth on their lips.

Even when the victim lurches forward, no longer able to stand upright in the hole, they continue to dash forward with their rocks. By this time, the white shroud has become soaked with blood. You can see them screaming in hate as they pound the bloody rags that the white shroud has become.

Welcome to the Islamic Republic of Iran, where the chairman of the Iranian Human Rights (sic) committee argues that stoning is an appropriate punishment.

It's all in the wording, folks. The arabs will villify Israel every chance they get via their media, via their propagandist videos, or via their own national charters. Read two reports from the Arab world below, one from Brigades cooperate in mortar launch. And like the Hasmonean Tunnel riots, there is absolutely no danger being imparted against their abominable mosque. Here is a picture of the repair work the arabs are using as an excuse to kill Jews in order to feed their man-god. Notice the Western Wall which is where Jews pray to the Holy One and Only G-d Almighty? The arabs' mosque is pictured there - but it's on the other side of the Western Wall. It's all part of the arab mendacity machine and it's disgusting:

Gaza - Ma'an - The Al Aqsa Brigades, of the nationalist Fatah movement, and the Abu Ali Mustapha Brigades, of the leftist Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine have announced responsibility for the launching of three mortars at an Israeli military post near the Gaza Strip on Friday. In a joint statement from the brigades, they declared that the launching of the projectiles was in "retaliation for the Israeli aggression and attacks against Palestinians in the occupied territories, especially against the mosque of Al Aqsa."

And from 'Yasser Arafat's Group' launches 2 homemade projectiles at Sderot :

Gaza - Ma'an - An armed group affiliated to the Fatah movement called 'Yasser Arafat's Group', on Saturday claimed responsibility for launching two homemade projectiles at the Israeli city of Sderot. They issued a statement announcing that the operation is a "natural" retaliation for Israeli violations of the ceasefire through daily pursuit and assassination of resistance fighters. They also said the operation was for the Israelis continuing to assault the Al Aqsa mosque.

The lying, jihadist Danish imam who helped instigate the Mohammed cartoon riots by touring the Middle East with bogus pictures it attributed the Jyllands-Post has died (hat tip: Sugiero).

Abu Laban had cancer:

Ahmed Abu Laban, Denmark's most prominent Muslim leader and a central figure in last year's uproar over the Prophet Muhammad cartoons, has died from cancer, his organization said Friday. He was 60. Abu Laban died late Thursday at the Hvidovre Hospital in Copenhagen after battling lung cancer, said Kasem Ahmad, a spokesman for the Islamic Faith Community.

A Palestinian immigrant who became Denmark's leading imam, Abu Laban was thrust into the international spotlight during the firestorm over the prophet cartoons, when he accused Denmark of being disrespectful of Islam and Muslim immigrants. He angered many Danes by seeking support from the Middle East in his fight against the Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten, which first published the controversial cartoons. Many blamed him and other Islamic clerics in Denmark for stirring up anger that triggered massive and sometimes violent anti-Danish protests in Muslim countries in January and February last year. The 12 drawings, one of which depicted Muhammad wearing a turban shaped like a bomb, offended many Muslims because Islamic law is interpreted to forbid any depiction of the prophet for fear it could lead to idolatry.

The CT Blog revealed how a delegation of Danish Muslims, led by Copenhagen imam Abu Laban, toured the Middle East in December and showed fabricated cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohammed in a very offensive fashion, even though the pictures had never appeared on Jyllands Posten. The controversy has now exploded in Denmark. Friday night Danish public television, DR, ran two interesting stories about Abu Laban, the man who organized the delegation's trip to the Middle East. While the first profiled him, showing his extensive links to the Egyptian group Gamaa Islamiya, the second showed his double-talk. Abu Laban, in fact, was first shown speaking on Danish television condemning the boycott of Danish goods (in English), then shown interviewed on al Jazeera, cheerfully commenting on the effectiveness of the boycott (in Arabic).

How nice, I thought. But that's not the first time I've been wrong. Here's what the little puke wrote in the second post:

Muslims shout at Jesus' home: 'Islam will dominate the world'

Islamic groups held a large militant march down the main streets of Nazareth this weekend, highlighting for some here the plight of Christians in this ancient Jewish and Christian city where Muslims have become a majority and members of the dwindling Christian population say they suffer regular intimidation.

Nazareth, considered one of the holiest cities for Christians, is described in the New Testament as the childhood home of Jesus. It contains multiple important shrines and churches, including the famous Church of the Basilica of the Annunciation, the site at which many Christians believe the Virgin Mary was visited by the Archangel Gabriel and told that she had been selected as the mother of Jesus.

As you might recall, back in January 2002, Palestinian Muslims overran the Church of Basilica of the Annunciation in Nazareth and moved in and started building a mosque in its basement. The Muslim group has, under cover of night, proceeded illegally to dig a foundation and build the lower parts of a permanent mosque. They have cut this foundation, through archaeological remains, including pillars from an ancient synagogue or church, and bones from an ancient (likely Jewish) cemetery. They are now proceeding to build, driving down pylons and paving the basement floor, though they still have not obtained the various necessary permits to do so. They are determined to make this structure their central base of operation.

Here is a picture of the interior of the Church Of The Annunciation, in Nazareth, taken in 1894. Please note that the original building and some version of it was known to have still been in existence around 570 AD, but it was destroyed in the 7th century after the Muslim conquest of the Jews and Christians living in that region. The second church was constructed following the Christian conquest of the area in the First Crusade. It was destroyed in 1263 AD after the final destruction of the Crusader kingdoms. A small number of Franciscan Friars continued to occupy the ruins, in spite of occasional persecutions, and constructed a small church on the site in 1620 when Christians were permitted to return. Sheikh Dhaher el Amer permitted construction of the fourth church in 1730. This structure was enlarged in 1877, and then completely demolished in 1955 to allow construction of a new basilica, which was completed in the 1960s. It is the largest Christian sanctuary in the Middle East, and was dedicated in 1964 by Pope Paul VI.

This is yet another current example of Palestinian Islamic policy to assault Christian symbols. Originally, Muslims wanted to erect a new mosque in the front yard of the Church of the Annunciation in Nazareth; an Israeli court eventually prohibited this.

The Islamic Movement, the main Muslim political party in Nazareth, said it organized yesterday's march to celebrate Eid ul-Adha, or the Feast of the Sacrifice, which commemorates the Muslim belief Abraham was willing to sacrifice his son Ishmael for Allah.

Christian and Jewish faith dictates it was Isaac, not Ishmael, whom Abraham almost sacrificed.

Islamic Movement leaders paraded down Nazareth's main thoroughfare brandishing their party's green flag. Young Muslim men in battle gear marched and beat drums as a man on loudspeaker repeatedly exclaimed in Arabic, "Allah is great."

Hundreds of activists strutted screaming Islamist epithets, including "Islam is the only truth" and "Islam shall rule all."

Tens of thousands of Nazareth residents, seemingly mostly Muslim, congregated on the streets as the march passed by. Muslim children launched firecrackers into the sky, occasionally misfiring, with the small explosives landing dangerously close to the crowds.

Many of the town's Christian residents stayed away from the event, with the exception of Christian shopkeepers who worked in the area. WND observed as several Muslim youth marching in the parade started to charge at three local Christian shopkeepers but the youth stopped short.

Islam enjoys declaring supremacy over Judaism and Christianity by invalidating claims to historic Jewish and Christian presence in the area. Once having disarmed Judaism and Christianity of their religious symbols and having gained military strength, Islam may in due time be emboldened to conquer and subjugate the world.

Sen. Kerry found himself all alone while he was over here. He cancelled his press conference because no one came, he worked out alone in the gym w/o any soldiers even going up to say hi or ask for an autograph (I was one of those who was in the gym at the same time), and he found himself eating breakfast with only a couple of folks who are obviously not troops.
What is amazing is Bill O'Reilly came to visit with us and the troops at the CSH the same day and the line for autographs extended through the palace and people waited for two hours to shake his hand. You decide who is more respected and loved by us servicemen and women!

Falling into the trap of endlessly explaining, in more and more words why Islam is not what it actually is as revealed by its 1,400 year history and the fruits of its followers, seems to be a losing game.

Folks, here is another photo of the dilapidated mosque of Omar, also referred to as "the Dome of the Rock" in Jerusalem and a photo of the first edition book in which it was printed, in 1922. Note the utter disarray and lack of use of the supposedly third holiest site in Islam.

Based upon these pictures, the tale of the importance of al Aqsa in terms of its supposed "holiness" as a holy site in Islam should be re-stated to represent the truth, not the fiction each of you have been spoonfed.

Jerusalem is never mentioned in the Koran. Never. Oh surely, defensive Muslims will backpeddle and state that it is mentioned metaphorically - but the word Jerusalem is never mentioned. Never. How could it have been? Islam did not originate in Jerusalem, it originated in Mecca and Medina on the Saudi Arabian Peninsula. Not once is Jerusalem mentioned in the Koran, whereas the Bible mentions Jerusalem over 600 times. Therefore, Jerusalem could not possibly be important to Islam.

According to Jan Willem van der Hoeven, Director of the International Christian Zionist Center, he writes how Eliyahu Tal describes this Muslim falsification of history:

Featured prominently in today’s headlines, Al-Aqsa, at the time of Mohammed, was according to some Orientalists, an obscure mosque located in Arabia distanced from the Ka’aba the most venerated shrine in Mecca. It was a ‘stopover’ in the Prophet’s nocturnal flight to Heaven as recounted in the Koran: “Glory be to him who transported his servant by night to Heaven from the Sacred Mosque to the Farther One.” Al-Aqsa, in Arabic, means the farther, the extreme one (Ch. 17, Verse 1). Jerusalem, of course, is not mentioned at all, because at the time it was still under Byzantine rule.

The Prophet, who died in CE 632 (six years before the city surrendered to the Muslims) could never have set foot in Jerusalem. The Arabic name of Jerusalem Al-Quds (The Holy One) is derived from “Beit-el-Muqadas” (e.g. ‘Beit H’amikdash’), the Hebrew name for the Temple mount. The sanctity of Jerusalem was not enshrined in Islam at its inception, but was introduced into it after the death of Mohammed.

If the people of Israel would have invaded and conquered Saudi Arabia had built their most beautiful synagogue over the Ka’aba stone claiming henceforth sole and exclusive ownership over Mecca and the Muslim’s most sacred shrine, demanding before the entire world what from henceforth is only a Jewish sacred place? The entire world would rebel.

The reason that Islam built the abominable Dome of the Rock on the Holy Jewish Temple Mount was to express its repudiation of Jewish or Christian claims of sanctity.






































For those who believe the Palestinians’ claims of an ancient culture, forced exile from their homes, nationalist claims and a desire for peace, here is a set of quotations from Arab and non-Jewish personas who think differently:

The Palestinian claim that the land for centuries sustained a thriving Palestinian culture is not verified by the facts of history. Yet the world community has given this claim a receptive hearing. The now dead PLO Chairman Yasser Arafat in his speech before the U.N. in 1974 falsely declared, "The Jewish invasion began in 1881 . . . Palestine was then a verdant area, inhabited mainly by an Arab people in the course of building its life and dynamically enriching its indigenous culture."

What happens when this claim is compared with the observations of the following recognized authorities?

In 1738 Thomas Shaw observed a land of "barrenness…. from want of inhabitants."

In 1785 Constantine Francois de Volney recorded the population of the three main cities: Jerusalem had a population of 12,000 to 14,000; Bethlehem had about 600 able-bodied men; and Hebron had 800 to 900 men.

In 1835 Alphonse de Lamartine wrote, "Outside the city of Jerusalem, we saw no living object, heard no living sound. . .a complete eternal silence reigns in the town, in the highways, in the country . . . The tomb of a whole people."

In 1857, the British consul in Palestine, James Finn, reported, "The country is in a considerable degree empty of inhabitants and therefore its greatest need is that of a body of population."

The most popular quote on the desolation of the land is from Mark Twain's "The Innocents Abroad" (1867),

"Palestine sits in sackcloth and ashes. Over it broods the spell of a curse that has withered its fields and fettered its energies….Palestine is desolate and unlovely…. It is a hopeless, dreary, heartbroken land."

For many centuries, Israel was a sparsely populated, poorly cultivated and widely neglected expanse of eroded hills, sandy deserts and malarial marshes.

Mark Twain, who visited Israel in 1867, described it in "Innocents Abroad" as:

"...[a] desolate country whose soil is rich enough, but is given over wholly to weeds – a silent mournful expanse... A desolation is here that not even imagination can grace with the pomp of life and action... We never saw a human being on the whole route...There was hardly a tree or a shrub anywhere. Even the olive and the cactus, those fast friends of the worthless soil, had almost deserted the country."

As late as 1880, the American consul in Jerusalem reported the area was continuing its historic decline. "The population and wealth of Palestine has not increased during the last forty years," he said.

The report of the Palestine royal commission quotes an account of the Maritime Plan in 1913:

"The road leading from Gaza to the north was only a summer track suitable for transport by camels and carts...no orange groves, orchards, or vineyards were to be seen until one reached [the Jewish village of] Yabna [Yavne]... Houses were all of mud. No windows were anywhere to be seen... The ploughs used were of wood... The yields were very poor... The sanitary conditions in the village were horrible. Schools did not exist... The western part, towards the sea, was almost a desert... The villages in this area were few and thinly populated. Many ruins of villages were scattered over the area, as owing to the prevalence of malaria and many villages were deserted by their inhabitants."

Lewis French, the British Director of Development wrote of Israel:

"We found it inhabited by fellahin who lived in mud hovels and suffered severely from the prevalent malaria... Large areas...were uncultivated... The fellahin, if not themselves cattle thieves, were always ready to harbor these and other criminals. The individual plots...changed hands annually. There was little public security, and the fellahin's lot was an alternation of pillage and blackmail by their neighbors, the Bedouin."

Surprisingly, many people who were not sympathetic to the Zionist cause believed the Jews would improve the condition of the Arabs. For example, Dawood Barakat, editor of the Egyptian paper "Al-Ahram", wrote:

"It is absolutely necessary that an entente be made between the Zionists and Arabs, because the war of words can only do evil. The Zionists are necessary for the country; the money which they will bring, their knowledge and intelligence and the industriousness which characterizes them will contribute without doubt to the regeneration of the country."

Even a leading Arab nationalist believed the return of the Jews to their homeland would help resuscitate the country. According to Sharif Hussein, the guardian of the Islamic holy places in Arabia:

"The resources of the country are still virgin soil and will be developed by the Jewish immigrants. One of the most amazing things until recent times was that the "Palestinian" used to leave his country, wandering over the high seas in every direction. His native soil could not retain a hold on him, though his ancestors may have lived on it for 1000 years. At the same time we have seen the Jews from foreign countries streaming to Israel from Russia, Germany, Austria, Spain, and America. The cause of causes could not escape those who had a gift of deeper insight. They knew that the country was for its original sons (abna'ihi'lasliyin), for all their differences, a sacred and beloved Homeland. The return of these exiles (jaliya) to their Homeland will prove materially and spiritually [to be] an experimental school for their brethren who are with them in the fields, factories, trades and in all things connected with toil and labor."

When Jews began to immigrate to Israel in large numbers in 1882, few Arabs lived there, and the majority of them had arrived in recent decades. Israel was never an exclusively Arab country, although Arabic gradually became the language of most the population after the Muslim invasions of the seventh century. No independent Arab or Palestinian state ever existed in the Land of Israel. When the distinguished Arab-American historian, Princeton University Prof. Philip Hitti, testified against partition before the Anglo-American Committee in 1946, he said: "There is no such thing as ‘Palestine’ in history, absolutely not."

In fact, ‘Palestine’ is never explicitly mentioned in the Koran, rather it is called "The Holy Land" (al-Arad al-Muqaddash).

So, folks, where is that "thriving palestinian Muslim society" that supposedly lived in "palestine" since the beginning of recorded history? According to these sources mentioned above, it never existed. All of you have been fed a lie, probably the greatest lie ever pitched to ignorant Americans and Europeans in the last 60 years.

"My Name Is Rachel Corrie" closes in New York today

After a year of controversy and debate, "My Name Is RachelCorrie" is - thank G-d - closing. The play was put together by Alan Rickman and Katharine Viner from the writings of the American-born palestinian-rights Rachel Corrie who was accidentally killed in 2003 by an IDF bulldozer in the Gaza Strip when she stepped in front of it. After its final performance on Dec. 17, "Rachel Corrie" will have played 9 previews and 71 regular performances at the Minetta Lane Theater in GreenwichVillage. The run of "Rachel Corrie" was tranquil compared with the uproar that preceded its arrival. The production was initially scheduled to move in March from the Royal Court Theater in London to the New York Theater Workshop. But when the workshop's artistic director, James C. Nicola, decided to postpone the show, many in the theater community erupted in protest. In June, Dena Hammerstein and Pam Pariseau (please note the fascists who supported this show) announced that they would produce it for a commercial run Off Broadway.
