It imports mealmaster & mastercook files, as well as providing tools to help users import from text files or webpages. Gourmet can exports webpages & other formats. Gourmet has a plugin infrastructure allowing users to choose add-ins they want, such as a plugin to calculate nutritional information. Gourmet also includes an interactive python shell plugin which is a great way for new developers to get started playing around. Gourmet is now built on Python, SqlObject, and GTK tools. Among the plugins is an experimental web front-end which shows the way forward to other possible future front-ends. -

PimSched
An application for scheduling vocabulary using the Pimsleur approach
Using PimSched, you can study vocabulary the easy way: while doing something else(e.g. playing a simple game like tetris, or while walking or biking). PimSched has espeak/mbrola read out words from a wordlist(vocabulary/translation seperated by '='), and then schedules the words according to the Pimsleur approach(5 seconds, 25 seconds, 2 minutes, 10 minutes). The output is a .mp3 file with everything you need to study.
