Omarchy is an opinionated, pre-configured setup built on top of Arch Linux and the Hyprland window manager, designed to provide a “just-works” developer environment right out of the box. The project targets users who want the power and flexibility of Arch Linux and Hyprland without spending hours assembling the pieces—everything from install scripts to theming and workspace behavior comes pre-wired. Because it is “opinionated,” the maintainers make strong choices about defaults (tooling, layout, theming) so you end up with a coherent system rather than 1000 little decisions. It’s particularly geared toward web developers and teams who want a consistent environment across machines. While the project simplifies many pain points of manual Arch/Hyprland setups, it still expects users to be comfortable with advanced tools and Linux workflows. It also emphasizes extendability: you can use the default build as your starting point and then customize further.

Main goals: * Prepare operating system based on Linux kernel and free software for use at home from scratch by building sources. Binary packages/images are also available. * Each package is installed in separate directory, so you can use different versions of applications and libraries by design. * There is only one user 'kanapi' with root permissions, so you don't have to login, remember passwords, etc. * Simple configuration * Automatic compilation.

WinDS is a Reimplementation of the OS Windows(R) XP(R) on the Platform Nintendo DS. Since i started coding Apps for the NDS, my goal was to write a program, called WinDS, which does (nearly) the same as the real appy by Microsoft. In contrast to other little NDS-Operating Systems, just like Woopsi etc. you can code your own Application in Lua for WinDS: just copy the Code onto the FAT-Disk and execute it from within WinDS! This is what makes WinDS so unique. The New Beta 0.95 is out, it features - 52 Classes that are already available within Lua - 25 different types of user interface classes - 8 different predefined dialogs which makes it the perfect GUI sandbox for DS. PS: More time without update means: next update will have even more improvements, as i am still developing ;)

My customized linux live spin using 'Awesome' the Window Manager (WM) If you are not familiar with the AwesomeWM you might have troubles using this LiveOS, unless you are experienced with Linux in general. If you are looking for a Windows (Microsoft TM) or iOS (Apple TM) alternative, this Linux spin is NOT for you! As the linux base system i'm using Fedora, which i found to work best for the hardware i have. This project is in no way related with Fedora.
