Thank you for your interest in ASIOWmpPlg. It has been many years since I stopped using it. Almost all my listening now happens on JRiver MediaCenter, https://jriver.com/, a far better product than WMP can even hope to be. Almost all material I use is sourced from sites like HDTRACK, and is of true native HiRes quality, which obviates the need in sample rate doubling. Plugins from version 5.0 to 6.1 do not work correctly (no sound when playing on WMP 12 (Win 8.1 Ent 64-bit) with ASIO E-MU 0404 PCI), only plugin version 4.4 works.

I never tried to use this plugin on Windows 10, and I am not aware of anyone who would use it. However, I think I understand the cause of this problem. Windows 10 is the first Microsoft OS with built-in FLAC support. In order for a file format to be playable by the plugin, I have to do disable for it the more modern Media Foundation pipeline, so that WMP would fall back onto older DirectShow pipeline. I never implemented this for FLAC, because Media Foundation didn't support it to begin with. Now...

Windows 10 64-bit version 1703. I tried both 32-bit and 64-bit version of WMP, the results was the same. I do not have any third-party codec pack installed.

I don't recall ever testing the software on Win10/x64. I have plans to return to it to fix some other known issues etc, but am not sure when I will have the time for this.
