I'm in the 7-day free trial right now. I was considering subscribing, but have a few questions and since there seems to be now way to get answers, I'm reluctant to pay for Agent DVR. I have iSpy running where I use a 3x3 grid and the camera images are stretched to fill each grid spot. In Agent DVR there are black boxes around all the images. Is there a way to stretch each camera's video in the grid so that it fills the grid cell without black borders remaining? John

I have just paid money and go an account with ispy in order to access my cameras remotely. But I can't find how to do it. It doesn't seem to spell it out. I do find where it says ispy will know if I'm trying to access remotely but am on the same net and will be clever enough in that case to do a direct connect thereby increasing speed, etc., etc.. - meaning, I guess, that I can't do any testing until I'm in anothe place on another net. i am a long term user of iSpy and used the fact that when viewing tons of video files in large icon mode (in Windows) you could see the frame that triggered the detection. Agent DVR does not seem to show any frame that triggered the capture. any way to fix that? thanks, steve

After years of running without issues the image from my camera switches to a sort of psuedo colour with all colours screwed up (see picture). The raw camera feed looks fine when viewed directly so the problem occurs in ispy software. If I close ispy and reopen it looks fine for a few minutes. The camera is a standard IP camera connected using FFMEG.

iSpy 7.2.1.0 64-bit When decoding a rtsp stream using VLC the image is much clearer than when decoding and redering in iSpy. I tried both FFMPEG and VLC in iSPy to decode. I changed the res to 1920x1080 under the camera settings. Is there some other setting I need to change? I attached two screen caps.

I often don't need to view the recordings and would prefer to see the camera view all the time. Would be really nice to have a minimize button for the recordings, instead of having to drag them down. I love this software though, so simple and just works. Great work on the most recent build. Very stable.

For my outdoor nightvision camera I get something like 0-2 false positives during the day, so the motion detection level seems quite good. But in the dark, at night, any kind of rain or flying bug trigger a recording. There may be 100-200 false positives during a rainy night. If I set the sensitivity so that it does only make 10-15 recordings during a rainy night, I can dance in front of the camera in daytime without any recording being triggered. That is receives the male coaxial out of the camera and thats has a female LAN socket on the otherside (called a keystone?) so that a regular mail RJ45 net work cable can plug into my router. However, it doesn't appear on the networkmap. Was I being too optimitic? Any advice?

I know this has probably been asked and answered but I cant seem to find an answer. Can iSpy be setup to record 24/7 without motion detection? Im current doing it with it On and its using alot of CPU Time. Setup the storage to keep 7 days worth of footage works great. Would simply like to reduce the CPU utilization by removing the motion detect on some feeds I need to constantly record. Currently running on a 24 thread X5650 Supermicro based server. I added a second camera then created a grid view. I have the grid on top and both cameras work. However now I cannot do anything at all. Mouse just dings at me if I try anything at all. I want to change the view but now that grid is on top, Cannot close it, move it, edit it or do anything in the progam at all other than stop it entirely. How or what can I edit to delete that grid view, perhaps in a config file or something? I don't like the idea of a total uninstall and reinstall to fix this because...

Hi i am trying to connect to ispy web services for my cameras , i am having many problems connecting but feel i have the ports opened 8080 but still cant connect live video, i cant see a problem and can i ask a little help please, i attach a couple of pictures of what i am getting, i also checked windows defender and see ispy is allowed access and i turned of Avast but still no avail, my provider is Free in France and had to have a permanent IP to allow me to access 8080. Uninstalled v7.2.0 >> and tried to istall back v7.1.8, but the installer stopped at the beginning saying: "a newer version is already installed." So now we are stacked with v7.2.0, where only a few old JPG cameras work, the newer HD cams not.

I've used iSpy for at least a year now and with two different types of cameras. A recent update started crashing my HoSafe cameras. Every minute or so, they randomly crash, then come back after reseting. On the network switch, I can see the link lights go off/on as they reset. If I stop iSpy and revert to the verndor software, the cameras operate fine; no problems. Thoughts?

Hi I didn't find the useGPU option to tick in the options tab, so now iSpy is using CPU to load http streaming. Could you help me how to find or how could be possible to activate GPU in Grid View screen. CPU usage almost 65%. In addition to this, this loading takes more than a second and the view is jumping 4-5 second every loading. I need more smooth visual. What would be your advice about that? Thank you.

It might help to resetup everything from scatch. Maybe there is an old setting or something still lingering. I am running an 8 core amd and with four cameras and the motion plugin and it hovers 15-25% cpu and 20-35% GPU. I think that acceptabe for me as the motion plugin I'm running takes up most of it.

I have since settled on setting them all up directly using their rtsp address, with the GPU option and it's working very well now.

Somehow this may have fixed itself possibly due to a driver update. But right now I have 4 cameras with advanced motion detection and my CPU is only at 15% while my GPU sits at 25%. Working very stable for me right now. Thanks guys this is a very nice program coupled with the plugin.

I noticed that when ticking the option useGPU the CPU usage doesd not decrease. I'm trying to understand the benifits of this option when I am not saving CPU cycles... What's the point of that option? I mean I do see GPU usage increase but that just means now the system has even more load on it.

Hello, Have tried to connect Foscam C2E to ispy many times w/o success. I can get the camera to display on Foscam's ios app. I am running v7.1.8.0, and run 20+ cameras on an i7 with no problems. I notice from a port scan for ports <1000 that ports 88 and 443 on the C2E are open, and have tried all combinations of http and rtsp to open the camera for ispy. Have tried urls that are similar to that used for Foscam C2 but ng. I also have >10 Foscam cameras on my server all w/o problems. Any help would...

I have a AMD R9 270x in my server that I would like to take some of the load off my CPU. All my sources are ONVIF so there is no GPU option. Would love to be able to do this in a future version.

Recently I noticed that CPU utilisation was arouns 12%, taking up a complete CPU core on my system. Its a fast system and this never used to be the case. I was running an old version 7.0.0.0 and so I thought I would update to the latest: 7.1.8.0 After running for a week, I note the CPU loading with the latest version is now around 40%, which is rediculous. I have two of these cameras and one is working okay and the other won't. And even the good one sometimes won't work with the scricam software. Or won't work. I don't know which it is. I'll like to try them on better software, like iSpy. But on trying it I can't make a connection to either. Perhaps because I don't have it configured correctly for them. My cameras don't even have model numbers such as those quoted in iSpy. they are just 'Outdoor IP Cameras' Can anyone help?

This is excellent software, but what is lacking is support for 4k monitors. Specifically, the bitmap snapshots corresponding to recent recordings are way too small to be usable. (I am under WIndows 10, using version 7.1.2.0 of iSpy). I hope this will be addressed in a future version of this software.

Same thing happening to me. After inserting the camera full URL with credentials (username:password) and then saving and clicking Finish, when returning to the source URL config the username and password are no longer present in the URL. This keeps me entering the full URL with credentials every time the app is restarted.

I have a few Dlink cams and they all set up on ispy without issue. I also have two Rosewill Shieldeye cams (models RSCM-15702 and RSCM-13702), neither of which can I get to pass video/audio to ispy after weeks of trying. The IP addresses show up as IPC connections, but with "unauthorized" in the description (none of my other cams show up with this verbiage). I've checked and rechecked the ID and PW, and even set up new users on the cams with simplistic password and still it shows "unauthorized"....

Every time I close iSpy it strips the username and password from one of my cameras url. This began suddenly happening after I upgraded to the latest release. This is very annoying because iSpy crashes sometimes and when it relaunches that camera will never be working. Help please.

Why would you remove the community forum? Support is lacking a lot for this software. The forum was a place where users could at least try to help each other. There was resources in there that helped people.

I use ISPY to remotely monitor (via WAN) 8 cameras from two different brands. Recently I bought some SriCam SP012 but I have not been able to access them via WAN, neither with the Internet browser nor with ISPY. When I used VLC as an ISPY plugin I could connect for a moment even though the colors were changed, unfortunately after a few minutes the connection fell and I could not connect again.
