AppMaker is a simple application that allows you to create a Mac OS X Application Bundles from a JAR File.
You can select your own icon and application title (or leave the standard title and icon) and you can also disable your dock icon, which is great for MenuBar applications.
Since JAR Bundler was gone from XCode for a while and most of the time it was a lot of trouble to make the final application run properly, I was motivated to build a simple app that could deliver the same result easily.
Features
- Choose your own icon for your application.
- You can disable the Dock icon from your new app (ideal for MenuBar Applications)
- Choose minor Java version to run your new app.
- Easy to use and clean interface.
- Just Drag and Drop to install.

Apps it creates are not recognized as legit apps on Mojave. They won't launch, and (presumably) are not signed. Perhaps the author could use the Notarizing service?

This is an excellent little app, which does everything the old JarPackager did. Its interface is a little confusing at first, but easily figured out. You can create an Apple application in a minute or two. Functions fine with El Capitan.
