How to Use

1. Download the Executable: Obtain the latest file_sorter_v3.exe file from the release page or your provided source.
2. Launch the Application: Double-click on the .exe file to install the program.
3. Select Excel/CSV File:
   • Click the "Browse" button next to the "Select Excel/CSV File" field, OR
   • Drag and drop your .xlsx or .csv file directly onto the input field or the "Drop Excel/CSV File Here" label. This file should contain the names of the files you want to sort, typically one filename per row in the first column.
4. Select Image Folder (Source):
   • Click the "Browse" button next to the "Select Image Folder" field, OR
   • Drag and drop the folder containing the files you wish to sort directly onto the input field or the "Drop Image Folder Here" label.
5. Select Output Folder (Destination):
   • Click the "Browse" button next to the "Select Output Folder" field, OR
   • Drag and drop your desired destination folder directly onto the input field or the "Drop Output Folder Here" label. This is where the sorted files will be placed.
6. Choose Operation Mode: From the dropdown menu, select whether you want to "Copy" the files (keeping originals) or "Move" them (removing originals from the source).
7. Start Sorting: Once all selections are made, click the "Sort Files" button to begin the automated sorting process. A progress bar and status messages will keep you informed.
8. Cancel Sorting: If needed, click the "Cancel" button to stop the sorting process prematurely.

Requirements

• Operating System: Windows 10 or newer.
• The application is provided as a standalone executable, so no additional software installations (like Python runtime) are required.
