Enhancement Request
It would be nice if the WinPython Control Panel software would get the PyPi package listing for the distribution being used and allow the user to navigate/filter/select packages to install/update. A similar feature exists in ActiveState's Perl distribution for CPAN which makes finding and installing packages extremely convenient.

pkgtools [https://pypi.python.org/pypi/pkgtools] provides a python interface to pypi and should make it easy to implement this.
