The network aims for credible neutrality, with an open-source protocol and permissionless access. RPC service is peer-to-peer, without the need for trusted intermediaries. Applications and providers are regularly paired by service type, stake, and geography to minimize latency in response times and maximize uptime. To eliminate the cost of cross-referencing multiple providers, the protocol uses probabilistic sampling and consensus mechanisms to detect and resolve conflicts. Applications personalize service by scoring providers and optimizing across latency, availability, and data freshness.
