About Fintech Sandbox
Fintech Sandbox is a nonprofit that provides early-stage fintech startups free access to critical data, APIs, and infrastructure through its data access residency program. Startups (usually bootstrap-through or up to Series A) can apply to use datasets from 40+ data providers spanning categories like capital markets, weather, news, etc., for up to six months at no cost, with no fees and no equity taken. Since its founding, over 400 startups globally have participated, benefitting from data access that otherwise would have been prohibitively expensive, enabling them to build and scale product capabilities without that barrier. It supports both structured and unstructured data feeds. Beyond just data, Fintech Sandbox helps participants by offering connections to a community that includes investors, financial & tech institutions, data providers, accelerators, and more. Its mission is to reduce the roadblocks for fintech innovation by making data fuel for startups, not a barrier.
