    Pros: Simple, clean and intuitive interface.
    Free & Open Source.
    Available on multiple platforms - Mac, Windows and Linux.
    Export text files to html or pdf.
    Multiple themes.
    Active dev community.

    Cons: No cons - its a simple yet elegant markdown tool which is free. open source and works cross platform.

    Overall: If you want a more powerful text editor than Notepad, Mark Text is a great option.It provides real-time preview which is a WYSIWYG editor.
