Anyone interested in the largest marketplace for buying and selling NFTs

About OpenSea

The world’s largest digital marketplace for crypto collectibles and non-fungible tokens (NFTs), including ERC721 and ERC1155 assets. Buy, sell, and discover exclusive digital assets like Axies, ENS names, CryptoKitties, Decentraland, and more. Building brand new economies powered by true digital ownership. OpenSea is the first and largest marketplace for user-owned digital goods, which include collectibles, gaming items, domain names, digital art, and other assets backed by a blockchain. At OpenSea, we're excited about a brand new type of digital good often referred to as a non-fungible token, or NFT. NFTs have exciting new properties: they’re unique, provably scarce, liquid, and usable across multiple applications. Just like physical goods, you can do whatever you want with them! You could throw them in the trash, gift them to a friend across the world, or go sell them on an open marketplace. But unlike physical goods, they're armed with all the programmability of digital assets.

"Zero response to help tickets etc"

    Posted 2022-05-07

Pros: It's supposedly the top dog but I don't see it. The bigger collections are there but they're on Rarible as well.

Cons: Zero support, zero acknowledgment of help tickets. You're completely on your own so pray nothing goes wrong and what you buy actually shows up. Absolutely forget about trying to get verification. I'm on month four of their "up to 5 business days" to review. All of my other social medias are verified so there shouldn't be a problem...but I wouldn't know if there is because they don't bother responding to ANYTHING.

Overall: Very frustrating. I've moved on to other platforms which aren't fantastic but at least they acknowledge their users.

"Won't let me initialize wallet to post 1st sale"

    Posted 2021-11-24

Pros: Uploading NFTs into a collection is easy. The app for the phone runs nicely. I like Coinbase Wallet to use with it.

Cons: Trying to list NFTs for sale, even if you do have the hundreds of dollars for gas, results in an eternal wait to initialize your wallet. I waited all day. Nothing. No response from customer service. RIP.

Overall: Waste of time. I don't know how they got so popular, honestly. there are a few fees that are not easy to navigate in using the wallet with them so beware.

    "Top place to buy NFTs"

    Posted 2021-10-29

Pros: OpenSea seems like it has won the market in terms of being the gold standard of where to buy and sell NFTs. Interface works well, everything is easy to use.

Cons: Sometimes the site is a bit slow but other than that I don't have any issues with it. Support takes a while to get back to you.

Overall: OpenSea is basically now the de facto place to buy and sell NFTs. There are other platforms out there but OpenSea is the biggest one and everyone knows about it. If you want to find the widest varieties of NFTs to buy, or want to reach a big market to sell your NFTs, OpenSea is the spot to do it.

    "Awful Company"

    Posted 2021-10-15

    Pros: Nothing.

Cons: Impossible to navigate. No assistance. Many people say they purchase and do not receive the item. Not even worthy of a single star.

Overall: Overall this platform will probably fail. Do not invest time or money into it. Go with something better.

    "Not happy "

    Posted 2021-10-14

Pros: Great site. But not that easy to use & navigate. I know they are new so maybe they will get better. But if u can send payment & not get anything the. They can’t help cause of blockchain them is this new form of payment that good idk. At least at a store with receipt u get refund or credit. Here nothing & I have copy of success transaction.

Cons: I purchased Saitama inu NFT yesterday & never got it. They say nothing they can do. Terrible business. πŸ‘ŽπŸ»πŸ‘ŽπŸ»πŸ‘ŽπŸ»πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘πŸ˜‘

Overall: I emailed them with copy of the block & transaction. Says success but no NFT. All info was correct I checked 3 times.
