Overall: Overall fits all my needs without one more thing to figure out and a great price . No additional equipment needed. It upgrades anyone’s leading on zoom. An easy win!

Pros: Found Vodium to use for developing new content for my site with video. Video today is everything and how people consume info. Relaxed, engaging, real, authority and relaxed. Yes, relaxed is the word I use twice because Vodium gave me the speed at which to read, super easy to use and a confidence builder. If you're into all that on your videos.

Cons: I wish I could auto save where there would be a backup of the text I used into a google doc or something but I just cut and paste on my own. How lazy of me even to suggest but would be cool.

Overall: Easy, inexpensive and a confidence builder for building video content into your strategy. Strategy is the new video is the new strategy. Helps people seem effortless on camera conveying info.

Pros: I loved that you could adjust the speed, and even stop it for a second or two, and then start it, with no clicking in the background. The people I am in meetings with don't even guess that I'm using a script.

Cons: I wish it could be purchased as needed. I don't use it every month, and I don't really like paying if i am not using it.

Overall: I like this program very much. It is very user friendly and works as advertised. I would definitely recommend this program to my colleagues.

Pros: Loved the ease of use and the streamlined design. The support was communicative, but didn't really need it much because it's so easy to use.

Cons: There was nothing I didn't like. This review requires me to put something here, but it's easy and simple to use.

Overall: Was easy to sign up, easy to use and good support...not much else needed. I needed it for a project and it worked perfect! Would use it again as well.

When I am in a meeting having my notes with me at the top of my screen - maintaining eye contact with the camera lens AND seeing my audience is a heaven sent thing... This way, I am approachable (eye contact) professional and confident in my conversations.
When filming once again it feels good

Pros: This is an impressive tool to use when creating eLearning videos. The application can be placed right under your webcam, so you can have direct eye contact with your audience when speaking.

Cons: Would be great if there was a customer service number to call instead of emailing support.

Overall: This is a very impressive tool and recommend it all employees who are involved in creating eLearning.

Pros: I tried other computer teleprompters which were complicated and their tech support was minimal. VODIUM was the easiest to use, the best interface & the best customer service.

Cons: Only con - not possible to share screen and still read the teleprompter.

Overall: Great tech support and customer service! Love the continual upgrades. I will continue to use VODIUM and I recommend it to everyone.

Pros: I like the ease of use and the ability to follow my notes without looking down at notes. It was easy to install and start using.

Cons: So far, I have not had any issues with not liking this app. I had problems setting up my paid subscription vs. the free trial period.

Overall: My overall experience has been extremely positive and I would recommend it to anyone who has to do a lot of recording and online presentations.

Pros: I use Vodium to shoot several episodes of a talk show I am producing which feature other guests. While much of the show is conversational, I use a script to stay on topic.

I also use Vodium to audition for model and acting roles.

1. It's easy to copy and paste my script into the Vodium screen.
2. I like how the Vodium screen is transparent, so I can still interact naturally with my Guests.
3. I also like how I can adjust the size of Vodium screen around the other formats of my show, so it does not interfere.
4. I can also adjust the font size and spacing, which is important at a glance.

Cons: The real drawbacks compared to am actual teleprompter are:
1. With al teleprompter I look directly into the camera while the text is scrolling.
2. When I look at the Vodium screen even positioned at the very top as close to the camera lens as possible, my eyes are still not directly into the camera. Therefore, the camera does not capture my eyes.
3. In order for the camera to capture my eyes directly, I need to memorize parts of the script, which defeats the purpose of the quasi teleprompter.

So Vodium is actually an alternative to the real teleprompter experience, but not a replacement.

Overall: I am not sure I will continue using Vodium for Season Two. With all of its ease, I wish there were a way to capture my eyes directly into the camera.

This is not an issue for acting when I look slightly away from the camera.

Pros: I love how VODIUM helps me to be able to remember my topics and important points, while I may be using a powerpoint presentation or other communication tool. It is easy to use and it the best program I found that helps me with my scripts for my videos. LOVE and highly recommend!

Overall: My new job requires me to learn scripts and do presentations on Zoom. I used Vodium to practice without having to read the hard copies and simultaneously work on my presentation skills.

Pros: I've tried various other products that offer a screen overlay onto Zoom, and none was as easy to use or as intuitive as Vodium is. Board members in my first presentation with it said it appeared that I was simply talking to them - just what I wanted - because I was looking directly at the camera. I am a committed new customer!

Cons: I don't have cons to Vodium. It has every feature I was looking for.

Overall: A 10 of 10. I have ended my search for such a product and wholeheartedly recommend it. It is suitable for those technically inclined as well as those who aren't!

Pros: I'm a portrait photographer who runs 2 different Facebook groups. Staying connected through livestreams is really important, but I really struggled with either having to memorize exactly what I wanted to say or be looking at notes. Vodium makes this so much easier! I can type out my outline and keep it on my monitor at eye level with the camera so I can simply glance at my notes for reminders and still maintain eye contact and connection with my audience.

Cons: I haven't come across anything I don't like about this product.

Overall: Vodium allows me the flexibility and freedom to show up online in a professional way, and alleviates the stress of having to remember the points I want to cover.

Pros: Ease of use. The screen's transparency makes it easy to see open tabs if I need them during the Podcast. Font color & selection are great for my titles. The timer as the words slide up works nicely, making it easy to read when I am live. Vodium also has a unique feature. You can lock and unlock the screen. What does that mean? To make it look natural when I read, I can move my vodium teleprompter to where the laptop camera is located, so it makes it look like I am looking directly at the audience. for so many features, the cost is very affordable. I am so thrilled about Vodium. A must-purchase for anyone in media, podcasting, presentations, facilitating, workshops, or other ways to use teleprompters. What a great app!

No operator required. Doesn't require any skill. You can learn all that's needed in <90 seconds.

Cons: It would be slightly better if the text auto-advanced. The methods now are a speed control a pause-play toggle using the space bar.

Overall: It solves a common problem for presenters in a simple and effective way. It couldn't be more intuitive. I wish we'd thought of it!

Pros: This is great for when you need to read a script in meetings. Participant ls will think you are looking at them, when you are actually looking at your script on Vodium.

Cons: If the screen was more transparent, it would allow you to see all of participants in meetings.

Overall: This was very useful when I ran a workshop on Mindfulness & had scripts to read for the exercises. The participants thought I was looking at them.

Cons: The settings button is on the right of the proctor, and to see the full proctor you need to minimize the settings. I wish the transparency bar remained visible to change while speaking. There are times when I need to bounce around several screens while speaking and need different transparency so I can see the proctor and the page I am looking but having to go into settings each time is tedious when you're trying to seem focused.

Overall: Pretty great! Vodium customer service was able to respond to a concern I had very quickly. Having Vodium takes away from the stress of worrying about where my notes are during interviews and presentations. I like having something that is very easy and intuitive to use so that I can copy and paste notes to use them later on. I like that the teleproctor has adjustable speed and adjustable text sizing.

Pros: Great for video recordings and Zoom! The background on Vodium is a gorgeous color and transparent enough that it is easy to see PowerPoints and documents behind the digital teleprompter. I like the ability to adjust the text size and speed. If I keep the teleprompter in certain spots on my computer, it is difficult to tell that I am reading from a script.

Cons: The text speed for the teleprompter has a few set modes. If you need a speed between those set modes, you can work around it by adjusting your text size to create the speed you need. This worked fine for me but could be tricky for someone that requires a set text size.

Overall: Overall, Vodium is easy to use, looks nice when in use, and works as an on-computer teleprompting software for video recordings. The pricing is reasonable, and I would recommend this product to someone looking for teleprompting software that is on their computer.
