Simon Donohue writes the automobile blog That Petrol Emotion for the Manchester Evening News and offered up a few questions to a claims adjuster about what insurance companies will or won’t pay for regarding an alien attack on an automobile.
A UFO crashing into a car equals an insurance payout, but if the wreck occurs because of dodging ray blasts from a UFO, that’s not covered.
There are some more odd scenarios on the blog post covering topics like armageddon, animal attacks (not necessarily including the Geico gecko) and frozen blocks of urine falling from airplanes.

Who knew Bigfoot would show up on craigslist?
A poster on the site requested anyone who had lived through a Bigfoot or Sasquatch sighting contact him via e-mail with the promise of confidentiality.
He got a response on craigslist from someone who claimed to have laid eyes on Bigfoot. However, the witness was begging that anyone else who had seen the big hairy beast not respond in order to allow the elusive creature to continue to exist unharmed.
Bigfoot keeps getting the love all over the intertubes.

Who needs a sketch artist in the video game era?
Believe it or not, Japanese police used the Wii to create a likeness of a wanted criminal.
The Mii portion of the game, normally used to compose a game component that resembles the people playing the Wii, was put to use to come up with a representation of the long-haired, brunette man who drove a car involved in an accident.
Posters with the Mii image and a photo of the type of car involved were put up near the scene of the crash.
The Telegraph has more details on the creative Wii use by Japanese police.
