HMFMC # 455 AG/ Let It Snow

It's been a while since I've posted on my blog.  It seems that most bloggers are now using IG or FB.  If you follow me, I am still checking my reading list and enjoy seeing your posts. Today I'm playing along with House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge.  The optional challenge is snow, but I went with the Anything Goes theme with this cute woodblock stamp called Knit Gift from Stampendous (2006).  As you can see below, I've inked only a part of the stamp for this clean and simple card. The lightly stenciled background is the Ugly Sweater stencil from PhotoPlay.  The block was inked with VersaClarie Pinecone ink and colored with Copic Markers.  Gems are Stampin' Up! and the sentiment die is from Sizzix. Thanks for stopping by!  I always enjoy reading your comments.  Hope you have a Happy New Year! HMFMC#454 Anything Goes + Option Of Christmas Cheer

Good morning!  It's been awhile since I've posted here.  I hope all is well with you and your family. Today I'm sharing a sweet Christmas card with you for the current House Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge - Christmas Cheer .  With my recent move I've found a local stamping store and have made several trips to visit.  During my last visit I couldn't resist this adorable Hot Cocoa Day set from House Mouse Designs. My card design was inspired by THIS bookmark by Lorraine.  The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and Copic Markers.  Designer papers and sentiment are from the DCWV Winter Frost paper pad.  Glitter paper, silver cord, Stickles and sparkle gems complete the card. Thanks for stopping by!  I hope everyone has a warm and cozy Christmas! Autumn Blessings

It's been awhile since I shared on my blog.  My husband and I recently relocated from Alaska to Southwest Missouri.  It has been a whirlwind, but thankfully the movers recently delivered our vehicles and household items safely.  We are somewhat settled, but sadly my craft room remains packed in boxes.  I'm making the best of it and I've begun creating simply with what is at hand. It's beginning to feel a little like Fall in this area of the county.  I'm anxious to see the fall colors which are amazing here in the Fall.   That was the inspiration for my card today which features the adorable Maple Paws digital stamp by Di's Digi Designs.  You can purchase this image as Black and White or pre-colored.  Di is offering an amazing sale right now at 50% off! The image was printed onto Xpress It cardstock and colored with Copic markers.  I love the yummy warm color combo!  I found the designer papers in a flea market booth.  I...

Floral Birthday

While cleaning my craft room yesterday I came across a few panels in my stash that were colored.  This features a digital stamp from a company who is no longer in business - Craftin Desert Divas.  It is always sad when a craft company goes out of business.  But I still enjoy using their great products! This image was colored with Copic Markers and die cut.  The designer paper was also in my stash.  A few pearls and digital sentiment complete the card.   I'm sharing a fun mousey card featuring House Mouse Designs Breezy Day stamp  set by Spellbinders. The image was stamped onto watercolor paper, colored with Prisma Color pencils and blended with baby oil.  A cloudy sky was created by masking and inking with distress inks.  The card base was created with acrylic paint and my Geli plate.  A few Stampin' Up! dew drops and coordinating sentiment complete the card. Di's Digi Design Challenge - Use Stash Items

I'm joining the current challenge at Di's Digi Challenge blog with a fun mixed media tag using stash items.  My project features Di's Dog Gone Cutie Pals digital image. The digital image was water colored and fussy cut.  I've used a variety of items from my stash starting with a Gelli Print tag.  A small piece of mesh is layered onto the tag then a vintage View-Master Reel was added as a base for the cute trio.  Ribbon, wood heart, DIY enamel dot and ticket were all items laying on my craft desk.
