  I'm joining the current challenge at House Mouse and Friends with an older (2005) House-Mouse Designs stamp called Bursting with Excitement. I may have gone a little crazy with my tag, but it was a lot of fun!   I'm joining the PBSC with the option of Nature.  My card features the adorable Wonderful (30-029) clear stamp set from Penny Black. I started by stamping onto water color paper and blending with Tombow Marker ink.  Such a sweet image and fun to color! My design idea came from an abundance of polka dotted scraps.  They were die cut with a few sizes of Spellbinder circle dies and arranged on core'dinations textured white cardstock. The card was finished with enamel dots and a sentiment from Hero Arts.   I'm joining the Wheelie Awesome challenge at Art Impressions with a fun Clean and Simple birthday card. My card features Road Trip 4931 and Enjoy the Ride 5186 from Art Impressions.  The small car was stamped onto water color paper and colored with Tombow Markers.  I drew the road lines then added the sentiment from Enjoy the Ride set. This will go into my birthday stash for our church card ministry.   We are finally seeing Spring-like weather in Alaska!  It's so refreshing to see the daffodils and tulips in bloom.  So, I couldn't resist using Di's adorable Puppy Pals for this week's Loads of Flowers challenge. I printed the image onto water color paper and used Peerless water colors and Tombow markers to color the image.   The 5.75 inch square card base was in my stash and worked perfectly for the die cut layers and floral accents.  Designer papers are from Pebbles Garden Party and sentiment is Paper Smooches.   This is a special Anniversary card going to my cousin and his wife.  They will be celebrating their 5th Wedding Anniversary and just returned from Cozumel, Mexico where they honeymooned.   My clean and simple design features a lovely beach scene from Stampendous called Beachfront Boat N234.  It was stamped and heat embossed on water color paper.  I used distress ink, Tombow markers and Hero Arts Reactive inks to water color the scene.  A sentiment from Hero Arts and Stickles on the water completes the card.   I'm playing along with this week's MFT sketch challenge featuring the adorable Penguins in Paradise.   The "water" was created using the MFT Wavy Lines stencil, Tim Holtz distress inks and Stickles for sparkle.  I used an old technique for the "sand" by tearing SU Creamy Caramel cardstock then inking lightly.   I stamped the palm tree on Creamy Caramel and Old Olive cardstock then fussy cut.  Images were colored with Copic Markers.   I'm finishing up Mother's Day cards to mail to friends and family.  The sweet Plantpot Wendy digital stamp is perfect for any occasion!   I really enjoy coloring Di's sweet images, but the pre-colored images are perfect for a quick project!  They are beautifully colored and easy to print, die cut and include with my card.  Be sure to grab this cutie while it's free in Di's online Store. Of course, I've included both ribbon and lace on my card.  An embossed base panel and pearls complete the card.
