Stampin' In Alaska

It's been awhile since I've played along with Create A Smile.  Their sketch challenge really caught my eye.  Sketches are my Favorite!  So, I pulled out their adorable Moose image. The design panel was created with alcohol ink and plastic wrap on my Gelli Plate.  I fussy cut the moose and colored with Copic Markers.  A splatter stamp from DRS was applied to the card base with Adirondack Espresso ink.  A few wooden stars finish the card.   I'm joining the current challenge at Di's Digi Stamps with her adorable Wendy Pumpkin digital stamp. The image was colored with Copic Markers and Prismacolor pencils. I paper pieced her dress with coordinating papers from Pebbles  Woodland Forest paper pad. My Favorite Things Stitch Scallop Basic Edges die cut was used for the image panel.  A few gems and sentiment sticker finish the card.   Good morning!  Today I'm sharing a few cards featuring one of the November new digital release sets at Beccy's Place called Christmouse Wishes .  This set comes with three adorable images and six coordinating sentiments.   It was so much fun creating this cheerful cards! Card 1:  Birthday Wishes - This set can also be used for other occasions!  I printed the adorable mouse and cupcake rather large to be used as the focal point of my card.  It was colored with alcohol markers, fussy cut and layered onto the MFT Crosshatch die and birthday designer papers from Carta Bella It's A Celebration.   A few enamel dots complete the design.   I'm sharing a fun fall coffee/cocoa card tonight featuring MFT Sweater Weather in the Woods set.  Of course, living in Alaska, I had to create at least one card with the adorable Birdie Brown Moose! I started with a kraft panel as my base and used the Tim Holtz splatters stencil with Rich Cocoa Memento ink.  The moose image was stamped with VersaClaire Pinecone and colored with Prismacolor pencils.  A coordinating sentiment and enamel dots finish the card. My shaker card features a sweet digital image from super sponsor Sweet 'n Sassy called Snowman in Mug .   The image was printed, colored with Copic markers and fussy cut.  The mug was paper pieced with coordinating paper from Doodlebug.   Beccy's Place has a lovely new Christmas themed digital set this month called Holly Days .  This set comes with 5 black and white line drawings, 5 full color images and 5 word images / sentiments.  I had so much fun creating projects with this set! Card #1 Peace on Earth started with an enlarged print of a holly sprig.  It was colored with Copic Markers then layered onto designer papers from Basic Grey's Jovial pad. A machine stitched border, gems and the sentiment printed onto a banner finish the card. Card #2 Holly Days began by creating the base panel with various holly images from the set.  I used Microsoft Word to scatter the pre-colored images.  It was then printed onto designer paper from Basic Grey's Jovial pad.  The Holly Days sentiment was enlarged, printed and layered onto red cardstock.  A few sparkle enamel dots finish the card.   Happy Saturday!  I hope everyone gets a chance to be creative this weekend.  In Anchorage, we received our first snow this week.  It will be a very long, snowy winter but always warm and toasty in the craft room! I'm joining the current Art Impressions challenge with a stenciled background for the adorable turkey bum from (retired) AI Gobble Set.  The image was colored with Copic markers and layered onto a wooden floor from a MFT set called "On Solid Ground". A couple of sequins and sentiment from the same AI set finishes the card.
