  I'm joining a couple of challenges this evening ... both require making it funny.  I need a birthday card for my sister-in-law and thought Di's Puppy Pal digital image would work perfectly.   This little group of critters certainly look as though they were caught in the act!  But, who could scold this sweet pup?   This lovely CAS design feature's a pre-colored digital image from Jan's Digi shop called Star Spangled Wreath .  The set includes two sentiments and a black line image.  I love using the pre-colored images for a quick card.  I wanted to send out a few cards to family for Independence Day and this was perfect!   I created a fun rocker card featuring Polkadoodles Bob the Dog in a Boat digital stamp.  Isn't he adorable?  The set also comes with "love you a yacht" sentiment.   The digital image was printed onto X-Press It card stock and colored with alcohol markers.  I used a large circle stitched die from Pink & Main folded for the card base. A layer of bubble designer paper and the image panel make a quick card.  I finished simply with a sentiment from my stash.   The current challenge at Art Impressions is embossing - dry or wet.  My card features a set from the AI Laugh Lines called Never Too Old Laugh Lines .  I love Bonnie's people images... you can almost hear this sassy lady saying "Happy 29th Birthday... from your 110lb friend!"  The image was stamped onto X-press It card stock and embossed with clear embossing powder.  The embossed image was colored with alcohol markers and fussy cut. The image was adhered with foam tape to a dry embossed page using a Cuttlebug numbers emboss folder.  She has been framed with a Stylish Rectangle Trio die cut from Memory Box.  I finished the card simply with a sentiment from the same set.   I loved the color combo for the June Inspiration challenge at Altenew .  I've used an image from their Color It Up! Free Coloring Page . The digital page was printed onto X-Press It card stock and colored with alcohol markers.  I kept the design very simple with a black and white border and green twine.  Easy Peasy!   I'm joining the current moodboard challenge at Create A Smile.  I love the summery feel of the colors!  My summer card features a lemonade freebie digital image from Create A Smile. The digital image was printed onto X-press It card stock and colored with alcohol markers then fussy cut.  Stickles were lightly applied to the starfruit.  The image was layered onto papers from Jo-Ann Stores Ms. Sparkle & co.  I finished with a digital sentiment from my stash.   I'm joining the All Dressed Up Challenge Blog and FB Challenges with this fun Boy Birthday Card.  My card features the adorable Garden Boy digital image. I had so much fun experimenting with coloring this image.  I pulled out all of my cool grey alcohol markers and really had fun.  I'm so pleased with the result.  Hopefully, I get a chance to use this technique again.   I went through several paper options before finding these designer papers in my stash from American Crafts Studio Calico Darling Dear paper pad.  They worked perfectly.  A simple sentiment from MFT and enamel dots finish the card.   We have a new Anything Goes challenge up over on the Word Art Wednesday blog.  Our sponsor is Altenew, who are giving a generous gift of a $25 voucher to their store. My card features a floral set from Altenew called Paint-A-Flower: Spider Mums .  The floral image is huge and the detail is fabulous.  The image was stamped onto water color paper then colored with Altenew's  Watercolor Essential 12 Pan set . After applying a light splatter of green watercolor the panel was layered onto a black and white striped designer paper.  A gingham bow from Gina K Designs and gems complete the card. Have you seen the adorable June release at Beccy's Place ?  I'm showcasing a few projects from the Cafe Elements set today on Beccy's Place blog .  It's a fun set and I enjoyed creating the coffee themed projects below.   Warning:  Photo Heavy! My first card features the yummy digital coffee drink and sentiment.  It was colored with Copic Markers, fussy cut then combined it with two of the digital papers included with the Cafe Elements set.  The card was finished with a yummy grosgrain ribbon and enamel dots. My second card focuses on the yummy macaroons image included in the set.  The macaroon image was "stacked" by using MS Word, colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut.  Coordinating colors of rickrack were machine stitched onto the buffalo gingham panel.  The digital birthday sentiment is from Beccy's Birthday Stanley digital set and layered onto a fun banner included in Cafe Elements .  I finished with a few enamel dots.   I'm playing along with the current challenge at Art Impressions.  We have been asked to include snacks in our project this week. My card features the adorable Spring Chicken set.   I love the fun chicken images and sentiments in this set.  Great for so many occasions!  The image was stamped onto X-Press It card stock and colored with alcohol markers.  After die cutting the image I sponged Memento Dandelion yellow ink for the background.  A coordinating sentiment was stamped and die cut with a MFT speech bubble die. The image has been layered onto various designer paper layers from Carta Bella Farm to Table paper pad.   I'm joining the current masculine challenge at The Paper Shelter.  My card features TPS Ice Hockey digital set.  I enjoy the convenience of pre-colored images when a quick card is needed.  They are beautifully colored. I started by printing and die cutting the image.  It has been layered onto designer paper from Echo Park Jack and Jill paper pad.  A sentiment from Paper Smooches and enamel dots finish the card.   This will be going into my birthday stash for hockey players at our church.   I'm joining the June Challenge at Beccy's Place .  Beccy generously provides a free digital image each month.  I've used the black & white version for my project.   I pulled out a stack of paper scraps this week.  After gluing them onto poster board I die cut my tag.  It created a fun and colorful background for Beccy's whimsical image.    The digital image was colored with Copic markers then fussy cut.  Die cut glasses and ribbon finish the tag. I began by printing the digital image onto a piece of Stampin' Up! Crumb Cake card stock.   The image was colored with Prismacolor pencils and Faber-Castell Pitt Pastel pencils.  I kept the card simple with a birthday sentiment from Unity Stamp Company and striped paper from my stash.   Raise your hand if you watched the Jetson's as a kid!  Me, Me!  When I saw this fun Future Family set from Scrappy Boy Stamps I knew it had to be added to my collection. Scrappy Boy Stamps is hosting a weekly sketch challenge.  I'm playing along with the sketch provided on May 7.  Simple design but perfect for the little "Elroy" image and a radiant sun die.  The designer papers are from Bella Blvd To The Moon.
