Word Art Wednesday Challenge - Sponsor Doodlebugs Paper Crafting

A new challenge starts today at Word Art Wednesday .  As always, the challenge welcomes any project as long as it is family friendly.  We have a new sponsor this week - Doodlebugs Paper Crafting .  They are generously providing a $25 credit to one lucky participant.  Doodlebugs online shop offers a huge variety of products and popular brands.  Thank you to our newest sponsor Doodlebugs! My card features the yummy (Retired) Cream & Sugar designer papers from Doodlebug Designs.  The adorable tea cups were fussy cut from one of the papers.  Coordinating enamel dots and this week's Scripture finish the card. Karen has provided a lovely Scripture for us from Colossians this week.  You are not required to use it but we would love for you to download the freebie for your use.  Simply select the image, right click and save as. Art Impressions PANDA-MONIUM Challenge #380

Good morning!  I'm joining the current Art Impressions challenge with this fun group of birthday pandas.  This week's challenge is to use panda's and/or black and white on your project.  I couldn't resist a little pop of pink on my card. I started by stamping and coloring the panda image from the Pand-tastic Set 5113 with alcohol markers.  It has been layered onto gingham paper from Journey Blooms.  A coordinating sentiment and baker's twine finish the card. Father's Day - Relax, you Deserve it!

I'm sharing a Father's Day card that will be going in the mail this week.  I purchased this wood mount stamp several years ago at my local stamp store. The company name is The Stamp Pad-Co.   This is perfect coming from Alaska!  I stamped the image and colored with Prismacolor pencils.  The image is quite large so I mounted it simply onto scrap papers from my Basic Grey stash.  A few enamel dots finish the project.  I tend to keep my embellishments to a minimum since most of my cards are mailed.  FYI - Postage will be increasing again next month!! Art Impressions Challenge: #379 All that Glitters

Ever had one of THOSE months where time gets away?  This idea has been on my craft desk for a few days but life gets in the way!  So, I'm sneaking in a very last minute entry for the current Glitter challenge at Art Impressions . Bonnie Krebs designs the most adorable critters and people.  She really has the talent to make them "come alive".  This lady from Dare to be Fabulous is no exception.  She certainly looks as though she could be "accessorizing".  The image was stamped onto X-Press It card stock, colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut.  Lots of glitter tape was used for the background strip.  The coordinating sentiment was stamped then cut with an MFT die cut.
