Hero Arts Stay Crafty Challenge: Opposites Attract

The April Stay Crafty Challenge with Hero Arts is Opposites Attract - Opposite Colors or Mirror Image .  I chose to create a project by using opposite colors from the color wheel - Orange and Blue. I started by stamping the Hero Arts Antique Rose (2017) woodblock stamp onto watercolor paper.  I used various mediums to watercolor the image - Tombow marker and distress ink with Stickles applied to the center.  The image was fussy cut and layered onto designer papers from the Basic Grey Marrakech Paper Pad.  Layers of vellum die cuts, orange netting, gems and a sentiment finish the card. All Dressed Up #161 Anything Goes

I'm sharing a fun design featuring ADU Summer Trainers digital image.  The image was printed onto X-Press It card stock and colored with alcohol markers. I have been challenging myself to use scraps and items from my stash.  The Bingo panel was on my desk in a pile of unused papers.  Ribbon, flowers and stripped paper were all left from other projects.  It's so satisfying to use up "leftovers".  AND I love how this came together!  It will be going in the mail to my niece for her birthday next month.
