Word Art Wednesday - Sponsor Not 2 Shabby Stamps

Welcome to a new challenge week at Word Art Wednesday!  We have another lovely digital Scripture this week created by Karen Murray.  You are always welcome to use the Scripture, but it's not required to play along. We are so blessed to have a new sponsor this week.  Not 2 Shabby offers crafters stamps, dies, paper and so much more!  They are offering one lucky random winner a $25 gift card to the online store.    My card features an adorable free digital stamp from   Not 2 Shabby   called Have a Cup of Cheer .  The cup was colored with Copic Markers and fussy cut.  It was layered onto a Gelli Print panel.  A wood mount sentiment from Inkadinkadoo and Doodlebug designs matte enamel dots finish the card. I would like to share my card with the following: PIP Challenge:  #2524 Anything Goes Lil Patch of Crafty Friends:  #256 Anything Goes Craft Galore Encore Challenge:  #136 Anything Goes

Di's Digi Challenge - Animals Acting Like Humans

Happy Friday!  I hope everyone gets a little crafty time this weekend. I'm joining the current challenge at Di's Digi -  Animals Acting Like Humans . There are so many fun images in Di's Etsy Shop that are perfect for this week's theme.  I was a recent challenge winner at Di's and chose this cutie called Buddy in the Garden .  Be sure to check him out while he's on sale! My card was printed onto X-Press It card stock and colored with Copic Markers.  I tried a "new to me" technique by using various brown ink and randomly applying it in dots.  In retrospect, I should have used a darker base color.  But live and learn! The image was die cut with Spellbinders Petite Large Oval and layered onto an oval lacey cross stitch cloth.  It has been sitting on my craft desk for months waiting for the right project!  A few paper flowers and Stampin' Up Designer Paper finish the card. BTW- I'm searching for a new photo editing program.  This pho...

Father's Day for Fishermen

I'm finishing up Father's Day cards this weekend.  This pair of cards will be going into the mail for a couple of fishermen in my family!  The sentiment is an older woodblock $1 stamp from Michael's.   I stamped the full image of lures from Unity's Reel Great Guy clear stamp set .  It was fussy cut and colored then used as embellishments.  Designer papers are from Carta Bella The Great Outdoors 6x6 paper pad.   The inside sentiment reads "Have a Reel-Y Great Day!". Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Monochrome

Good morning!  I'm sneaking in a very last minute entry for the Penny Black Saturday Challenge with a monochrome design. My card started with a gelli print using acrylic paint and a stencil.  I then used a silhouette 2003 woodblock stamp from Penny Black called Irises which was stamped directly onto the panel in VersaClaire black ink.  A few gems and birthday sentiment finish the card. I really like how this turned out!  It will be going in the mail to a member of our church who has a birthday this month.
