  I'm sharing a fun fall card featuring Polkadoodles Eli Elephant Clearing Leaves .  I had so much fun coloring this image!  The image was die cut with Stitched Scalloped edge dies from Scrappy Boy Stamps.  It was then layered onto papers from the Echo Park Fall 6x6 paper pad. A few enamel dots and baker's twine bow finish the card.  This will go into my Thanksgiving stash for family and friends.   Beccy's Place Challenge began today and is always Anything Goes with an optional twist.  Beccy only requires that you use one of her images whether clear or digital.  If you are new to Beccy's images you can check out a list of adorable freebies on her blog. My card began with Beccy's adorable Pumpkins & Sunflowers digital image.  I used the optional color prompt to create a non-traditional Fall card.  The image was colored with alcohol markers and die cut.  It has been layered onto a stencil foiled panel.  A gingham ribbons completes the card.   Happy Saturday!  I hope everyone gets a few minutes to be crafty this weekend. I'm joining the current Fall challenge at Art Impressions with a Fall water color scene.  I recently purchased the adorable Art Impressions Elephant on a Bike (discontinued) stamp on a stamp swap website.  He's SO cute and really looks happy for Fall to arrive. I started by printing the Polkadoodles digital Country Road Scene background onto water color paper.  Water color crayons were applied then water colored for the scene.  It's hard to see in the photo, but the crayons have a slight shimmer which is really fun. The elephant image was stamped onto the scene and embossed then water colored as well.  A sentiment from Unity Stamps complete the 4.25 square card.   I'm sharing a fun fall coffee/cocoa card tonight featuring MFT Sweater Weather in the Woods set.  Of course, living in Alaska, I had to create at least one card with the adorable Birdie Brown Moose! I started with a kraft panel as my base and used the Tim Holtz splatters stencil with Rich Cocoa Memento ink.  The moose image was stamped with VersaClaire Pinecone and colored with Prismacolor pencils.  A coordinating sentiment and enamel dots finish the card.   Happy Saturday!  I hope everyone gets a chance to be creative this weekend.  In Anchorage, we received our first snow this week.  It will be a very long, snowy winter but always warm and toasty in the craft room! I'm joining the current Art Impressions challenge with a stenciled background for the adorable turkey bum from (retired) AI Gobble Set.  The image was colored with Copic markers and layered onto a wooden floor from a MFT set called "On Solid Ground". A couple of sequins and sentiment from the same AI set finishes the card.   Good morning!  I'm sharing a Fall design for the current Power Poppy challenge.  My card features Power Poppy's Seasons Seatings digital set. I printed the image onto kraft card stock and colored with Prismacolor pencils.  The image was die cut and layered onto papers from my stash.  A ribbon and acorn embellishment finish the card.   I very recently came across the Gecko Galz vintage printables. Such fun stuff!  They are also hosting a stamp challenge on their blog featuring this fun pumpkin digital image.  I couldn't pass up the challenge! The pumpkin was colored with Prismacolor pencil and blended.  I used alcohol markers for the leaves and acorns.  Pattern paper is from my stash.   I'm playing along with Gerda Steiner's Anything Goes challenge this morning.  My card features one of Gerda's retired digital images called Warm Fuzzies Bear.  I thought he worked great for this little Fall scene. The cute bear and mug were colored with Prismacolor pencils and alcohol markers then fussy cut.  The scene was created with the Spring Scene Builder die from SugarPea Designs.  I added a pumpkin and mushrooms from Unity Stamp Company.   The October optional challenge at Mo's Digital blog is Autumn.  I printed the sweet Hello Autumn image onto Kraft cardstock.  I colored the image with Prismacolor pencils then fussy cut the rack. The image was layered onto a couple of fall designer papers from my stash.  I finished with a Thanksgiving sentiment and a few enamel dots.   I'm joining the current Harvest themed challenge at Di's with her sweet Pumpkin Wendy digital image.  She's perfect for Fall! I started by printing the image and layering gingham over her dress.  I printed the image again then fussy cut the dress image.  It's fun to paper piece sometimes and I love the sweet gingham! The image was then colored with Copic markers, fussy cut and layered onto papers from Carta Bella Autumn paper pad.  The die cuts and seam tape ribbon are from Verve Stamps. If you follow my blog, you know that I LOVE a good sketch!  Well, I couldn't resist using the current Mojo Monday sketch for this card.  Julee Tilman offers a new sketch which includes the panel dimensions.  It's great inspiration!   I'm playing along with the current Add A Pumpkin challenge at Di's Digi with this cute image called Wendy Pumpkin . The image was colored with Copic Markers and Prismacolor pencils.  Memento inks were sponged on the background.  It was layered onto pumpkin papers from JoAnn's and finished with a few epoxy stickers.   I'm playing along with the Hero Arts Challenge featuring their layered pumpkin patch kit.  This was so fun to create and perfect for Fall themed projects. This kit is still available in the shop at $34.99 it's a steal!  This was my first time to play with the kit, but I'm looking forward to using this for my Thanksgiving cards this year.   I'm joining the current Mix it Up challenge at Sugar Pea designs.  I chose the color option for my card and hoped the first color swatch is gray(?). Have you seen all of the fabulous inspiration using the new Hey Fall set and Birch Forest Cutaway die?  I knew that this set would be perfect for so many occasions including Thanksgiving.   I started by sponging Grape Jelly Memento ink with a scallop die for the cloudy sky.  I used Stampin' Up! Smoky Slate with the Birch Forest cutaway for the next layer.  The bear was die cut and colored with Prismacolor pencils and blended.  The sentiment and various images are all from the Hey Fall set. Fall is definitely in the air here in Alaska.  We are having an unusually mild Fall with beautiful colors.  So, I pulled out the adorable Scarf Weather set for the current Fall Fun challenge at Your Next Stamp. The adorable image was colored with Copic Markers.  I couldn't resist adding googlie eyes to the sweet little bunny.  The image was layered onto designer paper from Echo Park.  A coordinating sentiment, enamel dots and seam tape ribbon finish the card.
