The Year, is 1716

From the ashes of the recent war of Spanish Succession... the Age of Enlightenment has begun! But just because the age of reason is now kicking off, does not mean old human bloodshed and politics will go away.

The Ottoman empire, slowing down but still powerful, continues to pose a threat to Europe. The Tsardom of Russia continues to expand East and south, while maintaing a hold in Eastern Europe as well, the Great Northern War between Sweden, its allies and Russia (And her allies) is ongoing. Great Britain, France, Austria and Spain continue to recover from the war of Spanish Succession.

However, things seem to be heating up between the colonial powers again as they scramble to discover new lands and found new colonies. A rising power in the Holy Roman Empire, the Kingdom of Prussia is removing Austrian influence slowly, but for how long?

The tide is rising. The world is quickly becoming a fast changing place. the question is: Can you adapt and change with it, while being successful?
