With most of the Roman invasion force slaughtered in the ambush at Teutoburg Forest the remaining Roman Legionaries that were able to surive the slaughter soon fled westwards through the hostile Germanic Forests that surronded them. Many Romans did not make it through the dense and dark Forests which we call our home. Others did not make it into the Forests before getting cut down by our Germanic cavalry and brave infantry warriors. Those who did make it out of the Forests soon discovered that they were all broken and spread out across serveral miles in the mist of hostile lands. However the Romans numbering 500 men were indeed finally able to reach the Roman garrison of the only fort east of the Rhine. Before the survivors returned the garrison only numbered 300 men who did nothing but wait around for any hostile to come at them. However with the Romans sending a messenger off to the West bank of the Rhine to gather more troops, we the Germanic people shall crush them and lay waste to the Romans inside their fort. When the Romans dare return they will find nothing but ruins and piles of Roman dead.

The ambush has been sprung, our warriors leaped into action and fought the romans with no mercy. Many have fallen, our men will be remeberd in battle poems, the bards will sing of this for many generations to come!

The time is right, the Romans march without knowing much of whats to come. Only swords, spears and axes will change the tide of a country.

Before the battle, the Priest of Woden is praying to Woden for good luck and survivability for the german men who will be facing the Romans

"Oh Great and Wonderful Woden. Please listen to the prayers of your followers inside of our amazing nation. Help our men be safe inside of the battle. Help them win this battle. Your skills on our side will help us have victory against the filthy Romans. They are very skilled, but we are too. We wish for you to bring us good luck and to bring us victory inside of a battle that will help us one more step forward to beating back the Romans."

Hemingr Leofstan finishes his pray and leaves his stand. He goes grab his armor to get ready to go and help fight with the fellow germans in this ambush

The Roman march through the lands of Germania. They seek for an easy conquest just like Gual and the many other tribes that have failed to fight against the Romans.

The dark forest of Germania can be a cruel place. The Germans have receive information from an anonymous person who is working with the Romans. He has given us information about troop diploymen, position, ranks and more.

Our men continue to scout the Romans for any sudden movement, we now have eyes on them. .
