Argh Matey! Who shall rule the Seas?

Ahoy Maties!

This Roleplay is dedicated to all pirate lovers out there who want to put their dreams of being a scurvy sailor to life! This Roleplay also offers experience to those Empire Builders and the ones who seek to destroy all pirates!

The year is 1655. Spain, the neverending conqueror, has finally reached its peak. Its Colonial Empire stretches from Texas to Argentina. With all that land, they become prey to vicious attacks from looters and other enemies. England and France, the seemingly unstoppable Naval Powers aim to set up colonies in this New World, whether it be by peace or by force! Finally, there are the Dutch, petty merchantmen eager to press their merchants to the ends of the Earth!

So I say this, who shall rule the Seas? Shall the Spanish keep their crumbling dominance over the Americas? Shall another nation step up to the American Throne, or shall the Pirates take over the Seas! The answer is with you!

Argh!

After long consideration, I think it would be fair that I contain as little power as possible. I want to have more of a rule maker stance than an actual person. This prevents any scandalous rumors of power gaming and abuse. So I will act as both an admin and a minor character.

There will also be different cool RP events. Some may be fantasy, some may be based on true historical events. There will be many surprises to maximize the experience here. I hope you all have a good time in the RP.

Spain Needed:

Yes, we do need some people to lead the Spanish. The Spaniards had the largest impact on Central and South America, making their dominance in the New World clear. Of course, they are the main target of the other factions.

Start Date: The start date has been set to Wednesday. We need some time to get maybe a few more people to join in order to get things going.

My apologies, Spain will also own Texas. So Texas and Florida being the only two areas of modern USA under Spanish control.

Well if the yellow on the map is Spain, they should'nt own any part of mainland United States besides florida. And France should own Louisiana. That's about it.

Spain at the peak of it's power? Portugal just kicked the Spanish out, and are at war, the Netherlands are at war with Spain, and because of these two wars, Spain is also about to lose their Italian colonies. Peak of it's power? England was a good bit more powerful than Spain. And also, it's New Spain, not the Spain
