just played a 10 min match with bots and the game feels a lot smoother than cs2. cs2 is going under acknowledged and over neglected by the devs at Valve. CS is your BREAD AND BUTTER its the game that single handedly makes the most money out of any game in the world. CS:GO reminded me how great we had it with operations, game modes, skins and most importantly A SOMEWHAT WORKING ANTICHEAT AND OVERWATCH. THANK YOU VALVE FOR ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ IT WITH SUBTICK AND NEGLECT

Fun game to go to if you're bored of. closest feeling Battlefield game to BF4, picked it up during steam winter sale for $48, I can definitely recommend this when another sale pops up in the future.

2025 REVIEW - CS2 is a shell of what CS:GO used to be, no operations for damn near 3 years, the AntiCheat system / VAC is almost non existent, there is no overwatch system to review footage of demos to ban cheaters, but here's hoping Valve can clutch and bring Cache back in 2026 and hopefully make it a nuclear themed operation...

Update 02/07/2026 there is no new operation and no cache yet... and deadlock a closed beta game has received NUMEROUS updates + a Christmas themed update while cs2 got a hole in a wall moved and a new set of skins added... bruh... this is your bread and butter valve, no original valve stuff for CS since GO (2021)

03/18/2026 valve has changed the ammo counter and discard remaining ammo in a magazine when reloading... this is cs... not tarkov... actual lobotomy update
