the game needs polish but has potential if they fix the god awful ui and horrible mouse and keyboard layout, the world is beautiful and the the only crash i had was when i almost killed the tutorial boss... however, its not worth 80$ right now and even less so when the deluxe and preorder items are not even working yet as they are keyed (yes even deluxe keys) as standard sale keys with no pre order bonus attached. edit: preorder and deluxe items are now working however at times like these i wish steam had a neutral button as i do and dont recommend it, the world is vast and the combat would feel great if not for the awful keybinds for both the keyboard and now as i just tried the xbox controller. story is mid but passable, npc are not all that detailed yet (storywise) but its still in the beginning part of the game for me.. the reason i did not recommend it yesterday is a mix of frustration at the crash (right at half hp on tutorial boss plus with all but one of his men dead) and the fact the preorder bonus items / deluxe edition i barely scraped enough money for did not work at launch... now why did i change it to recommended because i believe it can become a 8/10 at least if they fix the ui/keybinds but until then it will stay a 6.5-7/10 and will not be wortth the time and money it costs

it does not have good writing, many people have/had performance issues me not included, characters are not well written and dei seems to be a secondary focus but still a focus and Randy will not take feedback c4sh looks cool tho i just hope they dont ruin him

All right I was gonna give this a more positive review but I just can't bring myself too. Truth be told I lost faith in starfield in the first week, then after they added the "creations" feature I was done with this game. Honestly, if I didn't make the mistake of pre-ordering the most expensive edition I would not have bought this, now on too the review.

Originally I was gonna give it a 5/10 not good, not bad just boring and lacking content enough for me to not recommend, even if on sale like I originally put on the main game... but Bethesda is back to their ♥♥♥♥ of not taking criticism from reviewers, who push back and how bad their game is. In good faith I cannot recommend this game or any from Bethesda anymore. Tis a sad day where I who used to love Bethesda as a favorite game studio have to say until they say sorry and release a product that is not extremely mediocre do not buy this or any other Bethesda game.

They hate their own community so say f them and don't buy or play this ♥♥♥♥.

Here's the thing yes danvono is bad, yes it has micro-transactions, but most of the items you get from the micro-transactions you can get in-game by grinding... also yes you can only have one character slot and yes its annoying but you can change class whenever you want... also you can change appearance with either 25000 gold or a book that yes is a micro transaction but you can grind for it too, by spending your "premium currency" that you also can grind by killing monsters. yes micro transactions in a single-player game is scummy but so is playing a hour and not leaving a honest review.

now to the point do i really recommend the game, no not at full price wait for a sale then buy, so far the story's decent not good not bad just eh, combats as clunky as dark arisen and its grindy but what do you really expect out of a modern day "triple a company".

Edit: I just beat the false and true endings and I must state that if this didn't have microtransactions I would give it a 8.5/10 but because it does it gets a 6.3/10

not the best not the worse would only recommend if on sale, also don't really recommend Bethesda games anymore as they ignore feedback and their community in general.
