‘I need to know what to say’ from “The Adventures of the Teen Jesus” — Everything Comes — Medium http://buff.ly/1PaFoA3
EXCERPT
Jesus did not want to be like the men he saw getting laughs on corners with snide remarks, barbs and put-downs. But there was something Jacob, the boy he walked with, did not say that bothered him.
He took it to Abba.
“Abba, all this time. And you are the one whose kingdom is close at hand. But I have no idea how to tell someone how they can know you. Talk to you. What do I say? It scares me. I am so ignorant!”

EXCERPT
The fact upon which Triadic Philosophy bases its logic is the experience of young persons who proved to function in ways deemed helpful, tolerant and democratic resulting from an intense exposure to the stories of Jesus recorded in the Gospel of Mark. The values noted here were underlined by a general value which I call non-idolatry. It is an inclination to iconoclasm, a temperament that is skeptical of authority that cannot pass the test of the active values cited.

EXCERPT
“What do you want to be?”
“I’m not sure. Maybe a carpenter who talks with people about things.”
“Sounds like you’re might be one of those characters, clever people. You’ve seen them. They get a little audience and perform. People laugh. Sometimes they get beaten up for the strange things they say.”
“I don’t think so,” Jesus said. “I have a long time to think about what to say.”
