I love this illustration by Martha Rich.  I guess we’ve got to be okay with silence with each other though eh.

Only over the past year or so have I really come to embrace by (very) introverted self.  I have learned to manage my energy in social situations (which I do enjoy a lot) and take what time i need to recharge.  This has given me so much more energy for being social and to enjoy my friends. Quiet- The Power of Introverts by Susan Cain was a big influence- big ups to that book.  Being who we are is so freeing.
