Awesome Aotearoa- Magic in the Glistening Waters whenua.

These images are from walking the pooches yesterday. I am lucky enough to live in the Wairarapa; in Te Reo (Aotearoa’s indigenous language) this means Glistening Waters.
The Wairarapa is a rural region with lots of diary farming, wine making and creative community projects happening. It is an incredibly beautiful and diverse region. Here I am at Mt Holdsworth- a magical fairy land full of amazing walks. Out there walking pooches.

Red Mango and Murphy went walking and Niwa pooch went to his favourite dog-sitter.

We walked in the magical Mt Holdsworth forest.

This stunning part of our whenua is North Otago, New Zealand. This was a lunch stop during part of my cycle tour of Te Waipounamu. I have been at it all of 2014- continuing on soon. Cycle touring is such an amazing way to see this spectacular country.

endless wonder- wellington museum of city and sea

this gem of a museum is awesome- go visit if you’re in wellington (it’s free wooohooo). i am sure many would disagree but this wee gem trumps Te Papa Tongarewa for me. it rocks. kids will be into it too (esp the millennium movie- seriously just go there to see this. magical).
