[UPDATE] Updated “Birth Year Liners of Idols” Page + Updated Profiles & MORE!!

Helllllllllllllooooooo one and all. Thanks for taking the time to visit SuMandu today. We appreciate it.

I figure you came to find out what’s new on the site? Well, let me hinder you no longer. Here’s the break-down for today!

1) I managed to update our “Birth Year Liners of Idols” page. Yes yes, I’ve included Maru from C-Clown under the 97ers, and I also put WINNER in the list, too. Check it out if you want to know who else shares the same birth year as Jinwoo! Or Mino! Or Taehyun!

2) I was looking through some comments and saw someone complaining that Girls’ Day now has four members because Ji Hae left, and I was all like “Wait, our Girls’ Day profile isn’t up-to-date?!?!?!?!?!” So yeah, knowing me, I had to scramble over there to update the darn thing. Now Ji Hae is -sniff sniff- listed as a former member. But hey! On the bright side, I updated the pictures while I was at it! Now we have prettier pictures to look at of Minah and the rest of them… (this totally doesn’t help, I know). Come check out our Girls’ Day profile merely to see the shiny, pretty pictures. LOL.

3) So after seeing the previous comment about Girls’ Day having four members now and blah blah blah, I scrolled down further and saw yet again another person complaining that our Nine Muses profile needed updating too. I was like “I JUST UPDATED THIS PROFILE THREE WEEKS AGO WHAT THE HECK”. So I went over to check out their profile and realized that omg I’m stupid. I updated it, but I didn’t update it. Ya feel me? Well anyways, I assure you that NOW our Nine Muses Profile is really up-to-date. Can I just say, though, that companies really should think twice when naming a group after how many members are in it, because it’s just so awkward when a member leaves. I mean, Nine Muses has six members? LOL UM. If Got7 ever loses a member (which I swear to God I hope it doesn’t happen), then man. But anyways, that’s totally besides the point…come check out our Nine Muses profile to read some interesting and fun facts about them! I made sure to put in a lot of trivia.

4) Also, alongside updating Nine Muses’ profile, I found that their official accounts weren’t included on our “Official Celebrity Accounts“ page, so I stuck them right in there with no hesitation. Come find their Twitter, me2day, and other accounts here!

5) Last, I find it important to let you all know that I’m currently working on our WINNER profile. I’m working hard to make sure that we have an excellent, top-notch quality profile for them — with HD, sparkly pictures included…don’t worry — that’ll be up and ready to go for your viewing pleasure before their debut date (which is August 1st, if you don’t already know). The reason for this is so that you can familiarize yourself beforehand and prep for all the fangirling that is to come. SUMANDU NEEDS TO BE ON TOP OF THE GAME. VOTING IS OVER! The Next Profiles…

One week after the opening of our voting polls, we are now proud to announce the order in which the next seventeen profiles will be made. Now, also keep in mind that although this IS the final order of which the profiles will be made, if we feel like making a profile for somebody who is not included in this official list, then we may do so at any time. With that said, let’s take a look at how the results came in!

In first place, we have none other than WINNER with 107 votes!!! Not much of a surprise here, eh? We know, we voted for them too…we’re guilty of it. The next sixteen profiles are as follows:

[Jomarie’s Note] I’m surprised a bit, I must admit. I absolutely love  the company Brand New Music. I think they are a genius record label. They have signed with some serious, legit artists, including Verbal Jint, Miss $, San E, Bumkey, and Swings; and now their new rookie boy group Troy that just debuted this year has some major potential..enough to follow in the footsteps of their sunbaes. Maybe it’s just me though, because I’m a total die-hard rap/R&B fan…and you guys are more into pop. /le sigh But that’s alright! However, I thought WINGS had a reaaally great debut. Their song “Hair Short” is fantabulous, and it showcases their excellent vocal skills. And Wonder Boyz…dude…”Tarzan” is my jaaaaam. But I digress. I can see why N.O.M is last. Ke ke ke ke ke ke ke. We all understand how confusing that group is. Their debut song was one thing, but man that other song (we all know what I’m talking about) was a whole different level of complete, absolute wut. Nuff said.

[UPDATE] VOTING IS ALMOST OVER (Defunct) + New Profile! + Updated “Official Celebrity Accounts” Page

We have ONE DAY LEFT (Defunct) before the polls close. Vote now to help choose the priority in which these profiles should be made next!

ALSO…I am proud to announce that I have made a new profile for 15&, a young girl duo from JYP Entertainment. They are sooooo incredibly talented and beyond their years. Honestly, I’m very amazed at how gifted these two ladies are, especially at so early a time in their lives. I discovered them through Got7 and fell in complete love with them like that. So much so that I just ran on over here to SuMandu and just had to make them a profile. My only regret is that I hadn’t taken the time before to find out about them earlier. But no worries. I know about them now, and the moment I watched their MVs and saw their appearances on After School Club and Weekly Idol, I was instantly hooked.

What I love about these girls are their – for lack of a better word – “unconventionality”. They are truly different from what I’ve been seeing amongst K-pop girl groups lately (and even a select few soloists). I especially have high hopes for Jimin! I firmly believe she is a catalyst towards changing the “ideal” of what a female K-pop idol should be. She is proud, fierce, and hilarious; and fills any room she walks into with her positive vibe and energy. And omg yes their voices. They are crisper, cleaner, and fresher than a blue sky on a warm, breezy day in the middle of Summer. Their vocal ranges are craaaazy good, and their musicality is so on point. I AM JUST SO HIGHLY ANTICIPATING HOW 15& WILL TURN OUT.

Gosh JYP. Stop wrecking up my bias list, forreal. I am a solid believer of the YG Family, but my faith in JYP Nation is growing too fast, too soon. But will I try to stop it? LOL NO. KEEP IT COMING.

BTW for the record…I ship Yerin & Yugyeom very, very hard…but

CAN JACKSON & JIMIN JUST PLEASE….LIKE…RIGHT NOW…JUST…OMG YES…JACKMIN 4 LYFE. TO INFINITY AND BEYOND…’TIL DEATH DO US PART.

[UPDATE] Voting (Defunct) + Updated “Fan Club Names & Colors” Page + Updated Profiles!

Hey guys! Make sure that you keep voting for priority on which profiles you want to be made first. So far, YG’s soon-to-debut boy group WINNER is in the lead. Topp Dogg is up there also. There are SIX DAYS LEFT TO VOTE (Defunct).

Also, I wanted to let you guys know that I went ahead and updated our “Fan Club Names & Colors“ page. This tends to be one of our more popular and well-visited links on the blog, so I have to make sure that it’s all up to date and good to go for you guys. I managed to add some newer groups to the list — like EXID, LC9, and History — as well as some older artists, too, like Lee Hyori, H.O.T (individual members’ fan clubs are included also), Chae Yeon, etc.

…..okay you guys. I have yet another confession to make: I am falling for DMTN. I think I need to stop working on profiles, because I’ve been starting to realize that the more I work on profiles and research information on groups, the more likely I am to start to get to know them better, like their personalities, and fall head-over-heels for their looks. Then BAM. Suddenly my bias list gets wrecked up the butt before I can even notice it.

OKAY BYE GUISE I’M GONNA GO WATCH MANAGER ON STRIKE AND COMPARE DMTN’S “E.R” MV TO THEIR “THE MAN OPPOSED” MV AND TOTALLY STAY UP ALL NIGHT STALKING THEIR LIVE PERFORMANCES AND LISTENING TO THEIR SONGS.
