I was working there! what you don´t know about me is that I sometimes work for the press [takeing photos, shooting videoclips...] and last night I had to take pics from bonfire and shoot a videoclip from an aftershow interview!] somebody wrote a comment about the EUROPE pic on the KENT BROCKMAN/MASSICK split 9" cover and how long he hasn´t seen that pic... I saw dozends of clones that looked like they had jumped straight out of that pic last night and I survived... and had a new idea! when my pics and clips are good enough for the press... as I wanted to do a new zine anyway... this is DECREPIT´s brilliant 5 track 7"! DECREPIT were one of the most underrated and overlooked HARDCORE/CRUST/GRIND bands ever! I still mourn the loss of their even more brilliant TIRED OF LICKING BLOOD FROM A SPOON 12"! believe me, this is really awesome stuff! angry, powerful, with tight musicanship and lyrics that are worth to read as they´ve more to offer than most of the other bands in that field! especally than those from Sweden that have choosen war as their favorite topic! for the record: any band dealing with war in 9 songs out of 10 should be banned from rehearsing, playing live and most important from releasing anything in any format! out of all the straight edge bands of the late 80's, SIDE BY SIDE seems to be one of the most underrated. they're not as popular as GORILLA BISCUITS, as influential as YOUTH OF TODAY, or as musically advanced as BOLD, but nonetheless YOU`RE ONLY YOUNG ONCE is a powerful album and made get a MY LIFE TO LIVE tattoo over my belly! [no, I was never straight - more the opposite] I found the included cover on the net - that means the tracklist is wrong!

IMPALED NAZARENE is one of the few BLACK METAL bands I really like! in spite of the facts that I've absolut no idea what the record's name TOL CORMPT NORZ NORZ NORZ does mean, that I've absolut no idea what their lyrics [not included] are about and that I'm not even sure what language they use! but I know for sure that this record is brilliant, brutal music!

there where many rumors about TUMULT and what assholes they are, but when I met them they where absolutly nice guys and I found none of the rumors to be true [same story as with HAMMERHEAD]! this are the songs from the split 7" with GOMORRHA and their own 7"! I left out the GOMORRHA tracks as they are on their cd with much better sound posted elsewhere on this blog! music-wise TUMULT were fast HARDCORE/POWER VIOLENCE with MOSHPARTS thrown in here and there and sometimes brilliant lyrics with a very dark sense of humor! a click on the split 7" cover will lead you to those tracks and the link down below will lead you to their 7" including the tracks from the split 7"!
