To capture valuable insights while protecting user privacy, you need to collect consent from your website users. We recommend you use a Consent Management Platform (CMP) or work with your Content Management System (CMS) to collect consent and send it to Google.

To enable consent mode in your BigCommerce account, follow these instructions:
- Sign into BigCommerce.
- On the left hand side, click “Settings” then scroll down to “Security and Privacy”.
- Under the “Your Customers’ Privacy” check the box next to Cookie Consent Tracking.
- If you have a privacy policy, paste the url in the box next to “Privacy Policy URL”.
- Click Save.
Once you’ve enabled your consent banner, consent mode is also enabled automatically.
