Nothing is more important to an individual or a country than freedom. If we are not permitted to pursue life, liberty and happiness, our existence on this earth would be pointless. This is the reason why people had fought and continue to fight for freedom & justice. Independence Days around the world were the fruits of effort to free one’s country from tyranny — whether it was an abusive fatherland (Fourth of July), royal tyranny (Bastille Day) or imperialism (South Korea’s Liberation Day). Predictably, most countries in Western Europe don’t have an Independence Day because of their past history as imperialists.

Obama’s second term is a disaster

U.S. presidents always seem to get into a whole lot of troubles in their second term. Reagan had the Iran Contra; Clinton had the Lewinsky; Bush had the financial crisis. Obama’s second term to this point has a sample from each flavor. We have had the unanswered problem of Bengazhi, the IRS scandal, and the spying on the press and Americans. I don’t really have a problem with the NSA spying on Americans. However, I have a problem with spying without a cause. It is not economical and effective to target everyone regardless if they are a security risk. Quality is always better than quality.
What is the next problem on the president’s plate? I believe a severe downturn in the markets in coming soon (due to the Fed’s inevitable pullback on interest rates).
