Tucson visit

The Tucson gem show is going on right now and that means we get to go down and see Jean and Gina and Trish. It was lots of fun, there was crazy amazing updates and good talk, driving time was classic and fun, dancing in the streets, joke telling, high heels, what movies not to see, icecream and cupcakes. Oprah and Babs interview review, Good times, good times!

Chillin

We have been chillin out today, doing nothing special but having so much fun. Im so glad I have these two to keep me company every day. and hey at least one of them has clothes on:)

Barret Jackson car show

I had never been to a car show before...Not a whole lot of ladies at car shows...but definitly some good artwork and now I know where to go to get a picture of Ryan hand painted on the side of my car:)

I know, I know, I know

I said I would never, ever, under any circumstance, ever run in any sort of marathon. Well I still am never ever under any circumstance going to do a full one, but Jamie said the half would be fun( 4 weeks ago) and we did have a ton of fun running at night talking on the phone(blue tooth's work a lot better then holding the phone up to your ear we found) and hey doing anything with this gal is fun. So we did it and had a grand old time:)

Some memorable things about the day: me not being able to park, using a porta potty for the first time Ever, finding the special bagel table, being a little too nervous, seeing a dude carrying a cross while running, splashing Gatorade all over my face, seeing my sweet Ryan and kiddos at the end, meeting Jamie's cute cute funny and sweet parents, walking 8 blocks to get a Burger, making the 7 hour/45 minute drive home and getting to spend time running with my buddy:)

Big D

Today as Ryan left to go to work Dallas said, " Bye Dad, have fun going to work, selling golf clubs to get money so we can live here". I guess the little talk we had about why Dad has to go to work every day sunk in:) Yesterday I stepped on something and said, "CRAP"(I know what your thinking, Really Mary, are you sure it was crap) and Dallas said, "you said a bad word Mom, you need to say sorry" so i said, "I'm sorry Dallas" and he said, "Not to me, you need to say sorry to Jesus". Wow I love this kid!

This is why

I always say: Never wake a sleeping baby/toddler/huge toddler. They are just too cute when they are sleeping. I went in today to wake this guy up because he had been napping for WAY too long, and I just couldn't do it, so I took a picture instead:)

grandpa's resolution

Grandpa's New Years resolution was to read to Dylan every day. How cute is that right? Its going great and Dylan loves it.

New Years/Jamies birthday

New Years is one of my very favorite holidays, and a big part of that is because it is not just New Years it is also Jamie's Birthday. We hit Vegas for the big day and celebrated both. We learned a few things: Hybrid vehicles are the bomb, making it to vegas on a half a tank of gas feels great, the new bridge saves time but is a huge disapointment, tenderness is not to be mistaken for intrigue, Ryan does not like the hot seat, Jamie does not like Ryan to steer away from normal Ryan, I use the term "we" much to loosely and the yummy snack I have always known as garGettos is really garDettos. Jamie likes white chocolate cake for dinner and Ryan would like me to change my "frame of reference" family:)
