Presidents day and the boy brigade

We had a lovely presidents day with the boy brigade. There was: zip fizz, sore backs, firehouse, Will Ferril, Cheetos no sandwich, black eyes, sore muscles, team Jamie t-shirts in production, perfect weather, a uniting of American citizens with one picture taking experience:)

Practice

Ryan showed D a little video of a kid who practices basketball every day with his Dad and how good he got. It got D all pumped up and wanting to learn....which is good because last game a kid on the other team told D that the rules were to let the guys on the other team run and make baskets....and he believed him....so Practice, practice, practice is what we will do :)

Valentines recap

We had a little party

We were expecting lots of people...

But almost everyone cancelled at the last minute(the flu is going around our parts)

So everyone who came got their own pizza and 6 cupcakes:)

Big D was all about showing love, he was so excited to give me his gifts

Ryan loved his new shirts

and I am now an official owner of an iphone:)

We ended the night with a little night on the town. Perfect love day!

Valentines date night

It has been way to long since I had seen an onion volcano, and had some of my favorite tepenyaki food. This valentines date night was a success, the boys planned a fabulous night. Starting with fire on our plates and ending sitting around a fire. We packed alot in: dinner, dancing, yummies, hybrid vehicles, winning, sneezing, 123, can I get a 4th please. Loved every minute of love-day datenight extravaganza 2011

Hours of fun...

It was bound to happen at some point right...this is a first our house....who knew toilet paper could be so much fun!

Jr. Suns

Big D had his first basketball game last night. It was some quality entertainment for sure. a bunch of 5 and 6 year olds playing a basketball game, dribbling was optional, passing was unheard of and fouling was in abundance, but this kid smiled and ran and kept saying, "hey pass the ball" we have a "kobe bryant" non passer on our team:) His cute coach gave them all headbands to wear and big D's favorite part...the Gatorade, he downed a few. My favorite part: the game starting lineup where they called out the players names to the cool music they play when they do the real Suns game lineups, and Ryan yelling across the court, "Dallas, that is enough gatorade!!"
